I have been here once. I ordered carryout getting a pizza and breadsticks. The prices aren't bad with the specials. The pizza was pretty good though a bit too greasy for my tastes. Breadsticks and sauce were good. I would say give it a try.

D'Agnese's at White Pond , one of Akron's finest Italian restaurants, is conveniently located in west Akron immediately off the exit of I-77 at White Pond Dr. We offer a mixture of classic Italian and contemporary cuisine in a casual yet upscale atmospher
Our first time dining here and we werenât disappointed! The sautéed calamari with linguini was delicious as was the veal piccata! Our server, Ann Marie was very personable, professional and efficient! Reasonable prices, too! Weâll be back again!

My wife and I are fans of thin-crust, NY-style pizza (We both grew up in NY.), so we were disappointed when our hosts told us Marieâs had a thicker crust pizza. But we plowed ahead and shared 2 pizzas with our hosts...and we were converted. Somehow, Marieâs made a crust that was well done on the bottom with a delicious softer layer on top, with a lot of flavor. Appetizers [Mozzarella Marinara (cheese sticks w/marinara) and garlic bread w/marinara dipping sauce] were also excellent. I love to make my homemade marinara sauce because I have never found a restaurant that even came close. Marieâs did come closeâ¦very close. Other reviewers complained about the service, but we were very well taken care of.

In the 80's, Parassons was great - then they changed their sauce and the food was horrible for a decade or so (I don't know how they stayed in business). I stopped in the other day and was pleasantly surprised with the chicken parm. It was reasonably priced, prepared well, exceptionally filling (I'm a big guy and needed a box), and tasted pretty good. The taste is around a 3, but the portion and prep make it a 4.Don't expect the finest of Italian foods, but for its market and price point, Parasson's is back on my list of places to stop by for a good meal at a good price. The service was also excellent.

Having grown up in the New York City area, I know thatâs where you can get real pizza. Tomasoâs comes close: thin dough that falls over when you first pick it up; the right amount of oil (enough to drip, but not coat your tongue), lots of mozzarella cheese properly melted. But Tomasoâs let me down with the tomato sauce: it needed more basil and oregano.

My husband and I agree- this is our favorite pizza in northeastern ohio! Always delicious. Great prices, especially for the size. Never tried any of their entrees, but I've heard good things. Their house salad dressing is pink. Looks strange, tastes delicious!
