Recommended to us by a friend we tried this place . Tucked away in a little strip of shops this place makes Italian and Mexican. We had the Bolognese pasta and it was awesome . Bolognese Pizza is excellent as well. The lasagna here is also one I would recommend. black been soup is one of my favorites here. Everything is made fresh. One warning put some time away when you come here. Because everything is made fresh sometimes it takes them a lil bit to cook it up. Dining room is quaint with 6 small tables. Service is good and you won't be disappointed in the food. Try it out I'm pretty sure you will like this one.

I had a certificate from restaurant.com. The manager told me nastily that they stopped taking certificates 2 weeks ago. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was not good, just chicken over iceberg lettuce & a couple stale croutons. 2 olives UghWe had dinner. The calzones made my sons sick.

This is good food in a nice setting, but not fine dining. It should not take 75 minutes to get first courses. It should not take multiple times asking for EVERYTHING--refills on water or other drinks, dressings, forks for dessert. We were there for more than 2 hours. Some of us wanted coffee or cappuccino, but at that point, we did not bother with it. We just wanted to get out of there. I cannot think of one thing that went well, other than the food was (as usual) delicious, but there are other Italian restaurants with delicious food...and much better service. It was not the server's fault--she was trying so hard, but she was alone, serving table after table. Management did not give her adequate help, and it seems that the kitchen was not well staffed, either. My main course was lukewarm at best, the vegetables cold.

When Little Italy took over the place from soup to nuts and the servers were great.We loved it there.Then something happened?We always give a place the 3 strikes rule.Given different problems in the restaurant business,sense at one time my wife and I works as servers.Well on 3 different times it really was not nice.And we always go on there slow nights.Monday,Tuesday or Wednesday,so it wasn't because they were busy.But the server who has been there for sometime,each time was awful,more interested in texting and or flirting with the female stuff.So each time he came to our table something was wrong.And he forgot we were even there one time,we had to ask the busboy what happened to the rest of our food.I say if the servers and the rest of the staff would stop texting and chatting on the phones,and flirting,the food would be the way it used to be.GREAT!So we will not go back until we know things have change,and same with all our friends who stop going there.So please have a meeting with the help,and stop all texting,and flirting.

La PizzaTega is a small family owned and operated restaurant in the Linwood Greene strip mall on New Road in Linwood. It occupies two store fronts on the western end of the strip.We found La PizzaTega last year, and we have been frequenting it ever since. The food is excellent. They have a wide variety of soups, all of which are house made and excellent. Try the minestrone...it is wonderful. The salads are excellent. Excellent entrees include any involtini, the shrimp, scallops and jumbo crab over house made fettuccine, any of the parmigiana, any house made pasta dish. They will put any sauce you prefer on any dish. The variety is endless...they also serve pizza (very good) and subs. The prices are very reasonable...try getting the same quality and quantity of food at one of the other Italian restaurants in Northfield or Linwood.The wait staff is simply wonderful..Very attentive, very patient, very eager to please.We bring our friends there often because the food is wonderful, the prices are very reasonable, the portions are huge and the service is the best anywhere.It is BYOB, so come prepared. I VERY highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a new restaurant to try. Found La Cucina on Open Table and thought we'd give it a chance. From start to finish we had an exceptionalmeal with fine service. Our server , Danielle was attentive without being intrusive.We started our dinner with a special for the evening-Fried tomato caprese tower.. Lightly breaded tomatoes with delicious mozzarella in a tomato sauce. Better than your ordinary caprese. Much more flavorful.My wife had Linguine Vongole and I had Capellini al Granchio. Both meals were exceptional. Plenty of clams and crab meat with homemade pastas.Our meal was topped of with Spumoni- four mouth watering pieces of different flavors.Overall is was one of my favorite dinners and I will surely be back.Just for your information , they also can accommodate gluten free and vegan diets and there is indoor and out door seating.Thank you for taking some time and review us. Met some friends here at their suggestion. Naturally we were apprehensive since it was our first time. We will return again and again. We started out with a artichoke and arugala flat bread. It was served nice and warm, plenty of toppings. Dinner for my wife and I was chicken franchaise. I had angel hair with Bolognaise and my wife had spinach and white beans as her side. More than plentiful, 3 nice size filets of chicken breast that was fork cut tender. The sauce was mild and not over powering. The angel hair pasta was delicious, mostly because of the wonderful bolognaise sauce. Oh by the way I also had the meatball appetizer. It was good with a nice large scoop of ricotta, with a not too hot long hot pepper. Surprise at how good it was. The owner was on premises and she was very friendly. Full service bar that gave a nice Johnny Walker pour. Be back soon

Stopped here on the way home. Had their award winning Caesar salad, not low cal. Very garlicky, fresh and delicious. Bread basket with garlic bread and tomato pie was fabulous! The below clam and linguini is only half- we shared. It was fantastic!!

The food was good. The selections were great. the wait staff was very friendly. On the evening we were there, their internet was not working properly which meant they could not accept credit cards...and it seemed to be something that happens to them often. They lost a bunch of customers that night who simply turned around and walked out the door. seems like management should invest in a better internet service. On the positive side, they had immigrants from our southern borders in prominent well paying roles...and they were giving excellent service....so kudos to management. One room...off to the left when you come in...had a low ceiling....and the table next to us was so noisy that it made the whole room almost unbearable with the noise level.

Ridiculous. Great food but myself being a Pleasantville resident cannot order delivery. They specifically told me they can deliver to businesses in Pleasantville but not residential. Being a fire fighter for the city of Pleasantville and listening to their reasoning is just not right. Hopefully the owners will see this as an opportunity to correct this and allow the residents to enjoy your food.
