We went two days running for lunch to this beachside restaurant ( on the Weststrand ). The site and ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant . The menu choices are good and the food well cooked and tasty - strong fish offering .Most of the waiting staff seem to come from Italy and they are helpful and good natured . I recommend for midmorning coffee and for lunch . We were told it get fully booked up in advanve for evening dinners - so advised to book well in advance .

Wenige Tische, sonst Take-Away.Wir haben zwei Pizzen und einen Salat geholt. Gute, auch etwas kreative Auswahl, freundliche Mitarbeiter/in, leckeres Essen, alles war gut.

Vielleicht hätten wir es an dem Abend bei einer Pizza lassen sollen. Bruscetta als Vorspeise war gut, der panierte Ziegenkäse war eine Pampe. Günstig eingekauft und aufgetaut. Mehr Panade als Käse.Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Leber, den Grillteller und gefüllte Nudeln. Die Leber und die Nudeln hatten geschmacksneutrale Saucen drüber. In ausreichender Menge. Hat nicht geholfen.Beim Grillteller konnte nur die Pute überzeugen, der Rest schmeckte nach Olivenöl?Dann hatten wir auch noch zwei Pils zuviel auf der Rechnung. An dem Abend war so gar nichts rund.

Really great food and more than huge portions; we went there three times for dinner. We checked various types of dishes -- me the veggie dishes, partner the meat dishes -- from soups via bruschetta and pizza to pastas, and then ice creams. Everything was perfect.Couple of extra positives:-I like when the boss is around; he was there on all our evenings, greeting guests and checking out if everything was ok, helping to clear tables, if needed. He kept his eyes on everything. Well done, boss.-Once we overheard and saw when a young couple with baby buggy arrived; a waiter immediately went to them and showed the place where they can sit comfortably with the buggy.-Some icecream-wonders have really good names: Jaegerschnitzel Becher, Fruehkartoffelbecher, Einhoerchenbecher. -Enough space, nice interior, including photos from Venice cashiert on the windows.-Kitchen chefs pays attention to little details. More broadly, one has the impression that the kitchen chef does his work with passion. Well done.

Unlike the restaurant in Norden, this restaurant in the Da Sergio chain welcomes small dogs, so we felt very welcome and comfortable. The food and ambience was great; we'll be back next year, for sure!

Norderney is a beautiful and quiet island in Nord Sea and we have decided to spend a week in complete relax. We are italian people and we would have never thought to find an italian restaurant in the island. We believed impossible to find good restaurants outside Italy, and obviously impossible to find good ITALIAN restaurants! But, what a surprise! AL DENTE is a mervellous little piece of Italy in Norderney! Tasty food, fish or meat, masterly cooked by the chef LELLO, who brings all the flavours of VERY ITALIANI DISHES on your table. And what to say about wines: unforgettable sardinian wines, red or white, from a famous cave of Alghero. We heartly advice you to choose AL DENTE restaurant!

Wir fanden die Nudelgerichte alle sehr gut. War am dente und die Carbonara waren besonders gut. Personal sehr freundlich. Besonders mit den Kleinkindern.Und es ging sehr schnell. Draussen saÃen wir ganz gut im Strandkorb. Gerne wieder.
