This brand new addition to Newport's already bustling culinary scene really impressed me. Finally good pizza in Newport after years of waiting. Now I have another choice in town. Reviewed the Surf Club the other day, and both of these restaurants are bringing great pizza back to town! Imbriglio's is another addition to the Sardella legacy of great food.Russel,Thank you for your review. Our concept was to go about every stage of the pizza making process only using the best equipment and freshest ingredients. It means a lot to us that you noticed these details and shared your experience.

Boasting beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean as well as our open kitchen featuring a custom-crafted French Bonnet cooking suite, Cara is the crown jewel of The Chanler, providing guests a memorable, curated dining experience. Translating to "dear one" i
with a million dollar view and an interior out of Gatsby this is a place that you would want to take Grandma for her 100 th birthday or your wife just to show her how much you love her. Every detail has not been overlooked. The see thru kitchen, the tables that overlook the ocean, the hand picked staff who see to your every need. This is class not seen in Newport since the Golden Age. Having had dinner at this great place was such a great thrill that today just walking along the Cliff Walk we saw they had a sign that they had hot chocolate.we decided lets try that. We said we just wanted hot chocolate and you would think we were the King and Queen of somewhere as we were really treated like we said we want to have the best meal and wine in the house. Well, really, for Hot chocolate? No this was not just hot chocolate folks this was really the finest Hot chocolate in the world.Yes really. expensive, just a bit but worth every penny as you have never had "Hot Chocolate" like this before.Served like it was gold.It was to die for. We shared a pastry of home made carrot cake like you have to see to believe and the tast was like heaven. Everyone on staff it seemed wanted to come over to make sure everything was good. I can not wait to go back f or another meal. You should go here only if you want to have the best meal with the best service you have ever had in an outstanding venue. Trust me the meal will be the best you have ever had in your life. I do not say this lightly and the service will knock you off your feet.Dear Barry N., Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of your experience at Cara. We are delighted to hear the attention we put into every detail of the dining experience does not go unnoticed. Your comparisons to the Gilded Age in Newport are exactly the type of atmosphere we strive to create at The Chanler and Cara. Thank you for your kind words about our open kitchen, tables overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and our staff. We are pleased to hear you tried our new Hot Chocolate Bar as well. We look forward to welcoming you back to Cara soon!Sincerely, Lani Shufelt, Proprietress

Food to be shared. Cocktails to be sipped. Inspired by Italy. Bar 'Cino (we say it "chee-no"), is an informal neighborhood spot in the heart of Newport's historic Washington Square. Open daily for lunch and dinner.
We love the other restaurants they run, but while the service was good and the ambiance lively, the food at Bar Cino disappoints. Wilted salad with a bland dressing was almost inedible, while the chicken Milano panini was also not nearly as good as it is at a cheaper place in Bristol, Pomodoro. Sorry to hear this David. Serving up exceptional food is always our goal and I don't like to hear we left you disappointed. I'll discuss your feedback with the culinary team as we always want to present our best. We appreciate the feedback. We hope you have a better experience if you do try us again.Gratefully, Luke Devine General Manager

Wow! Joe, Michael and staff really came through for our pre-wedding dinner. They not only executed a wonderful dinner, but also navigated food allergies with ease. Wow. Thank you so much! There was another female waiter, which unfortunately I did not get her name, that was absolutely terrific. Thank you for everything! The Kvam and Norris' really appreciated everything that went into the evening!!

The history of Pasta Beach began in a small Italian trattoria some time ago where a girl and a bowl of spaghetti pomodoro fell endlessly in love. Established in 2002, behind the effort of recreating the euphoria experienced behind that first bowl of swirl
Stumbled across this restaurant while looking for a place for dinner. First off - the interior is lovely, so nice inside, great relaxed ambiance. We each ordered a fun drink of their specialty drink menus (sorry now can't remember the names) and they were amazing. I had the Chicken Milanese which came topped in a huge pile of greens and tomatoes, it was one of the best dinners I've had in a long while, so great! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his lasagna. We were saying it was too bad we didn't live in the area as if we did, this would be a regular spot for us. Such a great place!

Quaint, authentic atmosphere. Quiet and romantic. The butternut squash ravioli was incredible. The carbonara was the best I have ever had. Large portions so I highly recommend opting for the smaller portion for a lower price. Great that they offer that! Attentive service and overall great evening. Highly recommend.
