We've eaten here 3 times. Consistently good wait staff. But the food has not been consistent. On a good day its ok. Our last visit after 20 mins calzone arrived cold and had to be sent back. Tomato/mozzarella salad ordered at same time hadnt been made yet and when it arrived had very little tomato/mozzarella and mostly spinach. Not really somewhere we'll be going out of way to revisit.

My wife and I were in Mount Airy for breakfast today, and decided to eat at Concetta's.The menu offered quite a few selections, so I ordered the Steak and Eggs, and my wife ordered an Omelet. The food was served hot and delicious, and the coffee, a medium roast was tasty as well. The place was packed, however the staff on hand put out food without delay. Nice Place.

In 3 years I've loved every meal eaten here. The vast majority of ingredients are imported from Italy. It's a crime they've not been listed before, shame on me!
Excellent food, good location and amazing staff. Real Italians serving real Italian food. Pizza is thin and crispy, good crust crunch and the salads are large. The scallop/shrimp salad is my favorite. We've never had a bad meal here. The prices are a little high, but we think they are not put of the range for the area. I think it's worth it.

After growing up as an apprentice in his grandmother's pasticceria, Chef Vito completed his culinary training in southern Italy. When he came to Maryland, he brought with him his family's rich tradition of fine cooking and all of the hospitality that come
So, four co-workers went out to dinner at Mangia e Bevi. I had the Caprese Salad and it was excellent as was the bread. Three of us had the Trenette Bolognese. It was delicious! One had the Pistachio Ravioli which another person had recommended and she loved it. We all had dessert: Tiramisu, Chocolate Bombe, Chocolate Lava Cake and a Cannoli. All were fabulous. After dessert, the waitress came by to see if there was anything else we needed. I asked if we could have separate checks. We all had cards and I thought it would be easier for her. She said, "It will take me AWHILE. I am VERY busy." It was said rudely and we were all caught off guard. We weren't sure what to even say! We had had such a nice evening, it was sad that it ended so weirdly. She was standoffish the rest of the time. I have never been a server before. Is it a pain to do separate checks? Maybe I should have told her ahead of time? I am used to servers asking ahead of time if it is separate checks and didn't even think about it. I will definitely go back but if it is with a group, I will make sure I tell the server ahead of time that we need separate checks.I'm so happy to hear you and your co-workers had such wonderful experience with us! Thank you for sharing the love for our delicious dishes and desserts. We're sorry, though, to hear you were less than impressed with our service this time around. We always want you to feel taken care of with fast, friendly, attentive care, and we'll follow up with the team about this experience. We hope you'll give us another shot someday soon. Until then, Vito

Pretty good pizza and other food we've tried is OK. Nothing great, nothing terrible. There is a nice banquet room upstairs, and they do a really nice job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that part of their service. On the other hand, we've stopped going for dinner because the main restaurant tables are so close together. They are not quarter-turned and we feel like we're sharing a meal with our neighbors. No chance of a private conversation for you or them.
Four of us stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and 3 of us enjoyed our Chicken Cheesesteak Subs. Good size subs and comes with your choice of veggies/onions and a side fries. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Lots of free parking in front in the shopping plaza. Just off US 40 North of the I-70 on ramp.

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant. Mr. Cruz and his staff do a splendid job with food and service. I highly recommend it.
The service here was great and the wait staff very knowlegeable about the menu and anwered all of my questions. Not that I had a lot, but their answers really helped me select exactly what I wanted to eat. The restaurant is small and charming. It was slightly difficult to navigate our way out after all the tables had filled up, but nobody seemed to mind me squeezing by. I loved the painting on the walls. And the food was excellent, very nice selection of italian dishes, and very well prepared.

Walking distance from Shab Row shopping and across from Rails and Roads Museum, plus directly next to a playground, this is a great spot for families! I saw dog bowls on the patio which also warms my soul. I ordered a watermelon salad which was delicious, and the staff were soooooo super friendly and kind with great personalities! Definitely recommend!

"Manalu and our dream come true". As a little kid, my dream was to become a chef and open an authentic italian restaurant here in the USA. I spent so many years working hard and hoping that one day my dream will become true. Throughout the years my wife a
This was my 2nd time visiting this restaurant and I will say officially it's the one place I'll visit each time I come to MD for training. My server tonight was Marcello and his customer service was on point from the first encounter. I asked for sweet tea, which they don't serve, and he offered to make a glass of sweet tea just for me - very impressive. Just like last time, I tried one of the nightly specials. The way Marcello described the dish, I literally tasted the dish in my mind before I actually tasted the dish. Wait staff that can do that, are people to be kept on staff forever. So, I had the gorgonzola and pear stuffed ravioli with baby shrimp, shitake mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, in a brandy cream sauce topped with slivered almonds and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Baby, we got a winner!! It tasted just as good as it was described to me and that is truly an art. Manalu is now my favorite restaurant in Frederick. See you next go round and thank you Marcello for the great service!!!
