Ich bin sehr gerne hier zum Mittagessen, immer wechselnder Mittagstisch, die Nudeln sind immer prima und Preis Leistung passt auch! Auch das Essen Fantasio alla Chef ist ein wenig teurer, dafür aber groÃe Portion und meistens Meeresfrüchten und sehr lecker! Vor allem auch der freundliche Service dort ist top! Inzwischen gibt es auch eine Terrasse zum drauÃen sitzen. Absolut zu empfehlen

Da kommt man nach langer Wanderung am hiesigen Schützenhaus vorbei und ist total positiv überrascht. Ein Italiener in Reinkultur. Die Karte bietet alle Klassiker, frisch serviert vom netten und aufmerksamen Personal. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.Mein Tipp: wenn Ihr bei warmen Wetter auf der Terrasse sitzt, dann unbedingt mit Blickrichtung Weinberge. So seht Ihr das vermüllte Mobiliar auf der Rückseite nicht. Aber diese Kleinigkeit wird mich nicht daran hindern um schnellstens wieder zu kommen.Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, hat das Restaurant von Ende Juli bis Ende August wegen Ferien geschlossen.

Grilled Salmon and grilled Zander with generous portion of mixed vegetable were fresh and delicious. Salmon soup as well - not too creamy. Service initially professional, but not specifically welcoming; when told we were celebrating (elderly) mum's birthday, the Italian waiter from Sardinia was lovely and caring.Atmosphere is very "gemuetlich" in old building; silver service. We'll be back.

Had diner with my colleague. Place hasn't too much ambiance. For starter an antipasta plate, which was just some cut meat frim supermarket. No much variation. The entrecote we've ordere was well grilled, medium rare and tastefull. The vegetables and potatoes in the plate not really special. Service was ok. The wine Ripassa 2011 was superb. So for just a bite because you are travelling for bizz ok, but not really a place to experience an Italian evening with your beloved one for example

We had an unexpected great evening at the Eckstein Restaurant-Bar. Besides the nice food and drinks, it was the atmosphere that created a perfect evening. Although we were quite late on a Sunday night after the F1 race in Hockenheim (20:30 or so) We were still friendly greeted and served a delicious meal! Simple, but well made! The Coffee was great and the Grappa tasted good! Thanks!
