Italian restaurant in a renovated old house of Nara of the 100-year-old. Seasonal ingredients that are delivered from all over Japan in the farm-fresh. Nara of local vegetables and boxwood village of wild meat, dealing with the only food that was one by o
This restaurant was amazing. Tucked away in a typically Japanese street this restaurant was a fantastic discovery. The food was a fusion of Japanese presentation and precision with attention to flavour combinations with an Italian influence. The result was wonderfully fresh food, presented beautifully that delivered on flavour. You can BYO which we did, but they also had a very competent wine list which we also sampled. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable explaining every dish in detail. We chose the 8,000 Yen menu, the options were 6,000, 8,000, 10,000 and 12,000 menu options. The 8,000 menu quality was excellent and whilst this may seem expensive it was great value for money if you are someone who enjoys fine dining.

We had a set lunch at this restaurant while at Nara Park. It is obviously a reception Centre and the pink clad chairs were a dead giveaway that they cater for weddings. The views from the huge windows are lovely with rolling lawns and a tiny bridge in the distance. A very relaxing place and the food was good too. They seem to cater for groups, not individuals.

I was seated downstairs, but did need to go upstairs to use the restroom and the ambiance/decor is totally different.Downstairs you are closer to the street, the pizza oven, and it's more boring. However, they let me charge my phone while dining there. I did have to seek out a server when I needed something, but my food came out pretty quickly. The pizza was good, some of the better Japan-gone-Italian I've had.
Had the best margherita pizza I have ever had. Strikingly wonderful tomatoes over delectable mozzarella with an amazing wood fired thin crust. The other diners spoke similarly about their pies. Appears like a food truck but is more than that, with outside dining and good wines. Try it you will love it.

Pizzas were good but about half the size of what I like to see. Only came in around ¥1000 so cant complain too much. Good cocktail selection and nice enough place. Just wasn't wowed by the portion size, not to mention the prosciutto and salad pizza seems to literally be just that on bread with no cheese or tomato so quite possibly the healthiest pizza ever.

After a couple of days traveling in Japan we where looking for some change to the traditional Japanese food and found this friendly staffed Italian restaurant in Nara.We loved the friendly owner and his staff members and the pizzas and pasta tasted great. We were surprised with our names written in Japanese on a piece of paper which we could bring back home. Also the dessert was a nice surprise. We would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a break to the traditional Japanese food when traveling in Japan and staying in Nara.
