Top class wine bar !!! the best in town. They would have got 5 stars from me, if it was a bit cheaper...Service and ambience is great. Friendly staff. Would love to go back. Great selection of wines. Cheese plate was a bit poor (only 4 small cheese on the plate) but very good cheese. A great place !!!! Loved it !!!
I was feeling hungry and as Ai drove by this place I thought Pizza! Yeah! So I dropped in.This place specialises in Stone Oven baked pizzas and they don't fool around. They have menus in English which clearly state that you must order one item of food and drink from the menu.As I was feeling hungry I ordered a salad with prosciutto a Pizz with ham cheese and Japanese shimeji mushrooms. Now you can order the pizzas with less cheese as an option.I don't drink ginger ale nor sweet drinks and an alcohol free beer was unappealing. I ordered a large sparkling mineral water instead. The food was very tasty and very generous and I finished by paying around JPY 3600.00What you CAN do if you go as a couple is order a small salad each, share a pizza and order a coffee with your meal which will make your budget smaller. They also serve wine but with the non tolerance laws of Japan I had to give the Barolo a miss. Good food and good atmosphere, definitely a keeper.

This places has a winning all-you-can-eat formula. Included in the basic menu are a pasta option (about 10 different dishes) and delicious, non-stop pizza. The variety is pretty good and you'll get full before you could try all the different pizza. There is also self-service soft drink area.Staff is professional and well organised. Price is around 1600 yen. Definitely recommended.
Having just arrived in town we were both hungry so headed out to find a nice meal somewhere. As a vegetarian I suggested to my wife an Italian as it is generally easier. Although they had no English menu the waiter and chef did a great job accommodating myself. Yummy food. Nice staff. Good wine. Perfect.
This restaurant was a great little find close to the station in Nagano (few minutes walk). Being vegetarian, it had been difficult finding suitable restaurants but this Italian had a variety of meat-free options on the menu. I had a very tasty oven baked spaghetti with cheese and tomato sauce while my husband had an oven baked pizza which looked equally as good. The restaurant itself was clean and nicely decorated. It was a little on the chilly side so I'd recommend taking a jumper. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful even though we could speak very little Japanese. The price was also very reasonable for both drinks and food. I'd highly recommend a visit here for a good meal.

The menu outside, looked promising, so we entered the place. Our waiter explanation of the menu was very bad. No efforts at all.Was very surprised to discover that the ONLY hot drinks they have is oolong-tea or milk, just plain hot milk. The 4 cheese pizza was disappointing, small amount of cheese and almost no Gorgonzola on it !!The Uzu alcohol drink was not so good. Felt like a very cheap one.Maybe will give them another chance after a few months.

We went to this restaurant after a local from Nagano recommended the place to us. The restaurant is in a good location about 5 minutes walking from the ZenkÅ-ji Temple. The restaurant is quite small but that is one reason it is nice there. The menu is available in English which is a big plus. The owner of the restaurant could speak a little English as well. There are various small starters to choose from each 400 Â¥, if you order 3 starters it is 1000 Â¥. As main course there are about 8 differente typs of pasta to choose from. Costs roughly between 800 - 1300 Â¥. There is also a daily special to choose from. There are about 4 different small desserts each 400 Â¥.We had mozzarella wrapped in bacon with some pesto as a starter, two different typs of pasta (tomato with vegetables, and creamy mushroom), and Earl Grey creme brulee and pumpkin cheescake. There is also different wine to choose from. Each course was very delicious and made freshly right in front of you. You could tell that the chef knows what he is doing. Good selection also for vegetarian. Also the serve organic coffee with soy milk. We service is fast and likable. We payed 5010 Â¥ for one starter, two mains, two desserts, two glass wine and two coffee. The plates are reasonable size not too big though so if you feel hungry order some more starters. For us it was the perfect place to get a change from Japan cuisine. They are open for lunch from 11:30 - 15:00 and dinner 18:00 - 22:00.
Donât caterer to western people. Thatâs fine but what a tremendous time trying to order food. We finally ordered and waiter repeated the order. He tried but with zero understanding of English extremely tough. I would say try it but order off the English menu but donât try and explain anything as they donât speak English at all. I give it 5 stars only because the food was great

You will enjoy the atmosphere of this place. As you enter this hotel lobby you already feel the quality. We were directed to their restaurant in the back which was a beautiful room with tables nicely prepared. We order different dishes. All of the extraordinary. I have to warn you though. If you order the pasta arrabbiata be prepared to suffer. It was way too hot. I have never sweated so much due to a meal. The taste was great but I would warn the guests explicitly that the food is very spicy. To tell you that the plate is hot is a misunderstanding since you will believe har the plate is hot to touch, while the reality is that you are warned that the plate is very spicy hot. No matter. The food was great. Everybody enjoyed it. They also have a nice wine list. The desserts were incredible. They were served to us in a different room. When I asked for grappa I was offered different Italian grappas but also a liquor from Japan. I chose it. Did not regret it. Nice taste. Something called Sinano Wine. Enjoy it if you are there.
