The restaurant is rather dark inside, and cold. The service in general is slipshod, compared with usual Japanese service. The food was a waste of money - far removed from anything like a good Italian pizza. On the wall it said: "Neapolitan pizza". Oh dear, no.The salad bar is unmanageably small. There were no condiments in sight, no Parmesan cheese, just some unnamed, unidentifiable sauces for the salad veg. The maccheroni were acceptable. There were ceramic dishes with roast potatoes, a kind of lasagne, and some very chewy, dull potato puffs. None of them was hot - although they must have been at some stage in their lives. A waiter brought a fresh baked dish, saying "atsui" ("hot"). Well, the SURFACE was warm. The inside was cold.Staff come round with small slices of pizza on a palette. I've never heard of 'mochi' pizza. The others were dismally poorly loaded - not much tomato paste, a meagre sprinkling of mushrooms. The lunch menu is "As much as you can eat in 100 minutes, for 1500 yen per person". We left after about 60 minutes. We had arrived in great hopes, but left sorely disappointed, with lumps of dough crust sitting in our stomachs. A sad experience, which we will not be repeating. We could have eaten TWICE at Hamazushi for that money, and would have enjoyed the food. This is a Mickey Mouse place for Mickey Mouse families wanting to take small innocent children out for a treat.

Lovely place in french cozy style. View to the park. Had there my lunch. No English menu, but the chef speaks english. He was very willing about my vegetarianism. I Had the best meal of my Japan trip there, comparing also posh Tokyo restaurant! Absolutely Delicious carrot pate as a starter. Gratin cheese veggies pasta. And tiramisu. Loved it! Thank you!

OMOCHA is a Italian buffet restaurant in Mishima. There are 4 chain stores in Shizuoka. OMOCHA is designed with the image of one town consist of divided space. The restaurant is clean, fashionable and bright. You can feel sense of openness because there are not many walls. You can eat foods in a calm atmosphere while being surrounded by trees. When you enter the restaurant, you can use entrance reception machine. You can know the time to wait. So, you donât have to wait long time. You can use Ipad to order at the table. Then, you can order pasta or omelet rice. You can have a buffet. For example, pizza, dessert, salad and so on.There are 21 pasta and 6 omelette rice in the menu. You can choose a favorite food from various kinds of menu. I ordered cream omelet rice with shrimp and ovum. Then, I ate pizza, salad and ice cream. The omelet eggs were soft. There was sweetness and hotness in the omelet. I want to recommend it to people who like hot things. Pizza is freshly baked because it is baked in the fournance of the shop. Ice cream is delicious and you can as much as you like. It is nice for people who like sweets. Price is reasonable. In detail, OMOCHA set(over 13 years old)is Â¥1,380+(tax)~. Price is more value for small children because price is free for 3 years old people and below. It is good for families with children.OMOCHA has charm like toy box. OMOCHA is a nice restaurant. How about visiting the restaurant?
We honestly can't say enough about this little restaurant! After two weeks of Japanese food, I was looking for a different meal. My husband and I read about this place, and we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant itself is on the second floor of a building, but it is well-marked. It opens at 6pm and closes at 11pm (I think it's closed on Sundays). It was warm and cozy on the November night we visited. The music was kept at a low volume, and we were able to comfortably have a quiet conversation. It is a non-smoking restaurant, and we were VERY thankful for that.We ordered from the English menu. We had the Tomato Basil Bruschetta (good, fresh ingredients), the Spaghetti Bolognese (very good and made with a seasoned, ground pork I think - the sauce was light and the pasta was properly al dente), and the Vegetable Risotto (excellent). While I did not try a wine pairing because I had struggled with a headache that day, they had a fairly extensive wine list. The young chef came to our table a couple of times (I think his English was stronger than the waitress) and we were pleased with the service and the overall experience. We're still in disbelief that we had such a great Italian meal in Mishima!
