The trattoria amore is a classical Italian restaurant. Roman cuisine, home made pasta, white table cloth, great good looking service. We started with a small salad, had Spaghetti Vongole and Tiger Prawns with mediterranean vegetable. All prepared with lots of care and very tasteful. The wine per the glass (Montepulciano) was a wonderful recommendation. If we lived in Basel, then this would be our favourite Italian. Well done!

Arrived here for a party of 4 business dinner. We selected it to get out of tourist areas and try something local. We were not disappointed. Appetizers for our group consisted of either caprese or mixed salad which looked fresh and tasty and a Special: burrata (excellent). Main dishes were osso buco, veal, pappardelle with shrimp, and a special request for pasta with vegetables. An excellent primitivo helped was it all down. Above average.

We visited on our first night, wee bit tricky to find. Standard, good quality Italian fare, the little rolls served with the salad (not sure if you get them anyway) were delicious, and the mushroom risotto was excellent. This restaurant serves authentic Italian pizza that is cooked out of the oven. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is good. I ordered a spicy calabressa pizza with mushrooms and olives. The only compliant that I had is that the pizza could have been cooked a little longer in the oven. But overall the pizza was fine. The staff was very friendly and they spoke Italian.

Dining here with work colleagues, this is an affordable and no frills Italian option. A decent sized menu offers the usual wide choice of pastas and pizzas - all at decent (for Swiss) standards (18-22 CHF). The place is plainly decorated - modern but unmemorable - and if it's no-surprise recognisable food at affordable prices you seek, then Pisco delivers fine.

We was there for lunch.The staff was fast and very friendly.They are very friendly for children and dogs are also welcome.They are also passable for handicaped persons. (Elevator to the restroms).The pizza are awsome. The prieces are faire. Enough parkingspaces. I recommend it and come agin there.

I love this place and i used to eat here at least once a week. lovely garden to sit out in the summer time, excellent food although not exactly cheap. the pizzas are good value for money and the owners are always friendly and try their best to make you feel comfortable and at home. An excellent selection of wine and grappa, home made desserts and an innovative menu make this place an all time favorite.

Enthusiastic Italian staff! Hard to turn around because they are so excited and already ordering your sandwich before you can say anything. Not English speaking but know a bit. Few sandwich options which are good but not crazy. Family own, made by mama. Fun staff!

On our way to the airport we paid Vicino a visit to have diner. The service was good and friendly, and the dish we ordered (we both had the Vicino's Burger) arrived rather quickly. Unfortunately the beef was just too rare for our taste (the waiter did not ask our preference during ordering), but as we had a plane to catch, we didn't had the time to have it reheated on the grill. Also the Gruyère cheese wasn't my cup of tea, so overall it was a slightly disappointing experience. On the other hand our waiter wanted to be helpful, and offered us a free espresso afterwards (which we had to refuse due to our tight travelling schedule). Therefore I would give Vicino another chance (without Gruyère) next time.

Restaurant in Freidorf that is a pleasant location to have a glass of wine after a hectic day. Ambiance is nice and quiet. Service is a little inconsistent because staff is preparing for dinner and their is a shift change around 17:00, but that does not take away from from a restful place to unwind.
