Offering an amazing dining experience, Zaffiro's claim-to-fame is its traditional THINCREDIBLE® handmade thin-crust pizza that Milwaukeeans have enjoyed since 1954. The freshly prepared and baked pizzas use the same quality ingredients and recipes that Za
Both my wife and I agreed it was a different taste of pizza than any other we had ever tasted but will try it again because it might grown on you and pass some of our old favorites. Will retry again at a later date. Recommend you try it and see you agree.

I came alone for a late lunch (1:30 PM) and requested a larger table (there were 4 available plus tables in the middle of the room). I was very rudely told those were for more than just 1 person and she walked away. Had I been given the chance I might have told her the reason for the request (I had leg surgery and needed stretch room). So much for customer service. Since this was later in the lunch hour only i other couple came in as I was walking out. I dine here fairly often but that will definitely change. Brenda D was my server and she was great.
However we found a gem. Went there with my wife, son and daughter-in-law for a beer and something to eat. The food was outstanding! I had the Wisconsin cheese steak sandwich, it was awesome. The waitress/bartender Annie was second to none in customer service. We also got to meet the owner Mike who was very hospitable. Excellent selections of beers and excellently made southern comfort old fashions. We will be back the next time we visit Wisconsin for sure.
On very rare occasions we order delivery from Crossroads because it is local and the pizza is/was very good with lots of meat and cheese....not this time....hardly any meat...and the price has gone up...We only order just cheese and sausage so we loved that there was lots of each. Once the delivery person got lost and it took almost an hour (we live about 2 miles away) but last time the delivery was very quick (just skimpy).....If/when we order again, I will be sure to ask "how mush meat is on the cheese and sausage pizza"?

I am sad that being close to this place I never looked into this direction! I finally got to know about this original Italian restaurant from a college from work and brought a business guest... OMG! Outstanding food quality and extraordinary service by Joaquin! Italian is my favorite and I spend a lot of time each year in Italy to tell a difference, and this place is not only nice outside and inside but its food taste and quality is out of this world! The lasagna, chicken parmigiana, capresse salad, garlic bread and chocolate cake were delicious, not to mention their Italian Montepulciano red wine . Yes I do recommend this place!

Wow. I just love this place. It starts with super friendly staff who are always upbeat, happy, attentive, helpful, etc. And then there's the food. Best Sunday ham and rolls around. Super good pizzas (they even have frozen pizzas and will give you fresh ingredients to help augment what's already on the pizza). Really great fresh made hot sandwiches. Make sure to bring cash as credit cards are not accepted.

As an individual with Celiac Disease, I appreciate any restaurant that serves gluten-free pasta. This restaurant serves penne pasta with an assortment of sauces. My husband enjoys the grilled garlic breada nd the spagehetti and meatballs. Leah's is our go to place to local Italian food.
