This place is a block and a half from my house. This is not my favorite pizza but it is high up in my 'rotation' - who wants to eat the same pizza over and over? Its a great thin crust pizza thats always prepared the same way.I always order mine well done-crispy.They have coupons in the local free paper and now take credit cards and its carry out - delivery only. Pizza disclosure. I all ways order a sausage pizza. When I get it home I use 4 to 6 paper towels to take away some of the grease off the top of the pie.

This place has great pastas from ravioli to spagatini along with their meat balls. The Italian subs are good, large and filling. They catered both of my kids graduation parties and people were very pleased with the menu they provided. Instead of the typical fried chicken I got the lemon chicken instead and everyone raved about it. This is also on their menu as a regular meal. This is not a sit down kind of place, you call in your order to take out.

I had my retirement luncheon here because the staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful! We ate from the lunch buffet which made it very easy for everyone to eat and return to work at a reasonable time.Very accommodating with extra plates for cake, since the planners forgot them.I was able to make a reservation to use their private dining room.

This place is much pricer than other places (other than Beggar's), but sometimes I just jones for it, if you know what I mean. Nothing's like Aurelios, really. It brings back nostalgic memories from childhood too, since it's been around forever in the Region. Usually we get pizza delivered and only few times in like hundreds of times we've been disappointed (under-cooked a bit a few times). I also love love love their creamy garlic salad dressing. I know it can't be good for me, but then again, if I'm chowing on pizza, what's the diff? :)

Nothing like an Original John's pizza. Italian sausage and mushroom. Piled high, crispy crust. Just like the original John's in Calumet City. Just can't beat this pizza when it's done right. Run by the Bacino family, same great recipes. Highly recommended.

We went when our children were visiting as it had been one of our favorites. Everything seemed dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The food was not as good as it had been before. We were disappointed.

Decent beer selection, wide variety of sandwiches, appetizers, and salads, and premium specialty pizzas cooked to perfection....one word- YUM. If you are a pesto and veggie lover, they have a pizza called Magic Potion that's amazing. It traditionally comes with sausage, but my mom doesn't eat meat, so she orders the pizza without the sausage every time we go. It is so dang good....great. Now I'm hungry. Hahaha, well at least I know what I am doing for dinner tonight!

On a recommendation I visit the restaurant. The must for a foreignerNothing really special, maybe if you don´t expect 45 minutes times for preparing a pizza. The pizza for me was o.k. but as for a European guy to fatty and far away from a beloved Italian pizza. It took me two days in my stomach to digest the, little birthday cake, filled with mozzarella garlic and sausage. The service was good, also on a normal standard level.

Established in 1986, Cafe Borgia features the Italian specialties of Chef-owner Mike Jesso. A popular meeting place in Chicagoland, this northwest Indiana eatery is known for homemade menu offerings in an artistic atmosphere. With high praise for it's win
If you leave this restaurant hungry, it's your fault. Our waitress was Jules who was fantastic! One person ordered the eggplant parmesan while I ordered the shrimp and shells. Both dishes came out hot, fresh and huge. Plenty to share!! I tried the Blueberry Martini which was delicious and sweet, after which I tried another drink that had rum in it and was beachy-I cannot remember the drink name. Our complimentary bread and butter was warm and never empty. Our table was kept clean, empty dishes and glasses were removed promptly. We sat in the bar area, but the big seating room was very whimsical with the different lights and artwork. One area they need to advertise more is their outdoor seating. I know that I look for that in a restaurant because I like to sit outside. The only issue is that this restaurant does not do separate checks which is inconvenient. The day after and I'm still full!
