We had dinner here with friends and enjoyed the meal. The food was average. We found the sauces quite bland and very lightly seasoned. The breadsticks were overbaked. The salad was its usual goodness. We are unlikely to return to Olive Garden unless we are meeting someone who likes going there.

I reluctantly dined here last night after reading bad reviews on Trip Advisor. The things that were listed in other complaints certainly did not fit my experience. I came in early, about 5:00 and was told to sit wherever I liked. The waitress came right to me and cleared off the extra place settings. She offered beer advice and I ordered a good one. She recommended the eggplant parm and I was pleased. The salad is pretty basic but does have a house made dressing. The parm was cut parallel instead of the normal perpendicular and this was nice as it appeared as a steak with a dollop of nice marinara and mozzerella on top. It was traditional in that it was breaded and deep fried. This made it very rich and filling. A side of spaghetti with more marinara was served with it and a small bread roll. The waitress brought the beer, then the salad, and then the food in pretty quick order and was VERY attentive to see how I liked everything. She also processed my credit card quickly. The room was not packed but there were others there. The only negative for me is the gigantic TV over the bar wtth the volume turned way up and I was forced to listen to political garbage. I still prefer NO TV's where I dine. I would definitely come back.

Authentic Italian cuisine made from Mamma's family recipes. Family owned and operated since 1979.
03/21/19 Four of us to celebrate a friend's birthday.. venue was her choice. We have loved Mamma Disalvo's for decades, would not go to any other Deli but Disalvo's, We were excited to be there for another wonderful meal. It soon turned to a disaster.. as I sat down on my wooden chair and brought it closer to the table, my left index finger erupted into a gush of blood.. obviously a deep cut from the seat; our waitress was right on top of things and provided proper care. I felt terrible for ruining my friend's event. The meal was great though, the service was #1 - the reaction of the man (I shall not call him Gentle) who poses as the host/owner at the door was a disgrace, the second encounter with him and his ugly attitude and nasty smirk. Will not reveal the name because Mamma Disalvo's is an icon in Dayton. I will never return if he is at the front door. He never once apologize nor offer a much needed glass of wine.. had to pay for that too! still have an ugly scar 3 weeks later!

We had reservations for 6 PM but it was only 3/4 full. We started with cocktails, a Figlio Martini was $10 and a Bourbon Maple Smash was $9; both were good. There were several selections on the $20.19 Restaurant Week menu. She ordered the Peasant Salad, I had the French Onion soup, we both selected the Linguine Bolognese and finished with the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie. The meal was delicious! The salad was crisp and the cup of soup had just enough cheese and croutons. The Bolognese was filled with sausage and very meaty. The pie had just a taste of peanut butter which did not overpower the ice cream. Lia M. was attentive and pleasant.

New York style pizza is right on. We watched the cook hand toss the crusts.Good show.At lunch there are specials, subs included, but this visit they were out of sub rolls. Mom likes the eggplant parm sub, but this visit she got a healthy almost dinner sized portion. Delicious and the sauce was too.Lunch time gets a little crowded, so come as early as you can. Opens at 11.Service is great.

Visited with 4 friends and we all enjoyed our lunch. However, service was slower than it needed to be. The server was friendly and all our orders came out correctly, but it seemed to take a long time between the time we ordered drinks and they were served, as well as when we ordered entrees and they were served. The restaurant was more than half full, but wasn't at capacity, so I don't understand why it was so slow.

For full disclosure, I grew-up in Miamisburg so I've been eating Ron's pizza since I was 5. However, the food at Ron's hasn't changed and if anything, has gotten better over the years. My favorite is the deluxe, with that wonderful sausage. This is real sausage, not that ground-up mixture that Marion's uses. The crust is so good I sometimes eat the ingredients first so I can savor the crust. Pepperoni is top-notch, and if you don't order pizza their subs are excellent, as well. My favorite is the steak sub with gravy and banana peppers. They have a buffet on weekdays so you can sample all the pizzas, plus their famous eggs and beets. Their outdoor bar is a great place to meet and greet, too. You can't go wrong with Ron's.

Not good, nothing organic and sol gmo fake food. Nothing but chemicals and nastiness like all fast food chains. If you are homeless it might be best to dumpster dive outside a non fast food establishment.

Visit with family and friends after nine holes at Dayton Community Golf. Ordered Dr. Dre pizza, incredibly delicious and spicy with jalapeños, chicken, bacon, etc. Highly recommended...
