The Agriturismo Guardastelle is one of the few examples in the Province of Bologna to offer a local cuisine whit fix menù. .The Menu is entirely realized at home using the products of the Territory of Monte San Pietro and the Samoggia Valley. It is a fix
What can I say about Christina's food that would not sound like an exaggeration? Every mouthful of the most tender pasta or the freshest focaccia I have every had was pure delight. Her ragu to go with home made tagliatelle will haunt me it was so perfect. I love Italian food, but Christina has spoiled me for any restaurant in future. Having spent three evenings eating in her tiny dining room and being constantly delighted by her passion for delicious food, not to mention Umbertos wine, the grapes growing beneath my bedroom window, I am spoilt forever. If you get the chance, please treat yourself to Christina's food fit for gods.Dear Carol !!!!thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful and romantic location, a lot of wine and very good meat ..
This place is hard to find, especially at night because there is not street lighting. Roads are very narrow and dangerous, so drive safely. It is hard to find the main entrance too, but once you are in the food is great. I tried a main course and was beyond my expectations. Many courses were unavailable though. The waitress was wearing a bit of fake smile, but the owner is very kind and weird but in a pleasant way.

With authentic food, typical of the region delivered with excellent customer service from this lovely family Trattoria. So glad we attended this restaurant. The son of the family served us politely with good English (much appreciated) and knowledge of the food & wine on offer.

This agritourismo is on top of a hill with a view of the vines. They make their own wines, and the merlot, pignoletto, and barbera were all exceptional. We had the tortelloni with bechamel sauce, which they make by hand and yum yum yum. All the meat was good, particularly the sliced turkey, which was juicy and flavorful. One of the best meals I have ever had. Open Friday and Saturday dinners until midnight, and Sunday lunches. Definitely worth the drive from Bologna.

This small Trattoria really sets the bar a bit higher. The food was just amazing. The waitress got out of her way to explain every dish on the menu (only Italian). We were seated inside because of a thunderstorm shortly before but it was pleasant (except the steep stairs). The wine list is also good. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions of food. The location is on a hilltop, so don't forget to walk further up and enjoy the view!

Ca 'Nova del Tenente is a small village situated in a panoramic position on Monteveglio hills (center part of the National Association of Wine Cities) in the first Bolognese Apennines, between the provinces of Bologna and Modena. The beautiful surrounding
We (a family of four) had dinner at Ca' Nova del Tenente and we couldn't fault it. We had a set menu which consisted of five courses. Antipasti of cold meats, cheese, home-grown tomatoes, chutneys and delicious puffed-up pastries. Then there were crepes filled with vegetables in a delicious creamy, cheesy sauce. The pasta course had two types of pasta - tortellini filled with ricotta and spinach and another shape of pasta with a Bolognese sauce. Then the meat course of fillet of pork and stuffed rolled turkey, served with roasted potatoes. Finally the dessert course, which consisted of four small portions per person of a chocolate cake, an almond cake, something similar to a Bakewell tart and a fruity ice-cream style dessert. All of this was accompanied by several bottles of water (we could have had wine or beer but hubby was driving) and followed with coffee and liqueurs. All of the food was outstanding in flavour, absolutely delicious. The hosts spoke only a smattering of English (but enough that we could understand what we were eating) and were very welcoming and friendly. For our meal we paid a total of â¬100 which we thought was exceptionally good value.Ca' Nova del Tenente is situated in a beautiful hilltop location - we arrived just as the sun was setting on our final evening in the area and we wished we had discovered it sooner so that we could have seen it in daylight.
