The place is small, but cosy and it offers the possibility of eating inside. You will be able to taste delicious mains, sandwiches for everyone, seasonal vegetables, dishes of the day, desserts and, most of all, our specials: fried pizzas, fried panini, a
I ate lunch here at least 7 times during my stay in Lecce. The food is amazing-- delicious and diverse offerings, for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. I particularly loved all dishes with eggplant--eggplant with pasta, eggplant parmigiana are two noteworthy offerings. The eggplant entree and a contorni (vegetable, for example, chicoria), cost 5 â¬. And the people who work here are marvelous!

We entered the restaurant, starving, about half an hour before they were scheduled to open. Instead of telling us to wait for normal business hours, the owner welcomed us, seated us and gave us free appetizers to tide us over until the staff arrived! What hospitality! The food was all wonderful! We had scampi, two ways, seafood pasta and antipasti.

Small Pizzeria in the historic center of Lecce, excellent pizza and tasty homemade sandwiches, great courtesy and kindness of the owners themselves a unique place, a place where you can eat on the fly first class
We visited here two times during our stay in Lecce. We were lucky enough to find a table outside where we enjoyed a beer while my husband went in to order the pizza. All credit to the guys inside who told us that a full pizza would be too big for two persons....they were totally right! They produced our perfect pizza and the proportions were exactly right. Great food, cold beer and an honest approach to customer service. Thank you!Ciao Cat, our work involves passion and this passion guides us in trying to make those who come to see us feel good, being honest is an essential prerogative if we want to try to be always better, we are happy you found yourself well, we hope that in your next trip in Lecce you want to come back again to see us, because as they say, there is no two without three. GOOD LIFE.

After a warm welcome by (the son) of the owner we got our delicious antipasti. After the secondy a dessert was almost to much so we wanted an limoncello. After one look at the dessert we still got one, it looked like heaven, and it was like heaven. What a lovely spot, great food and even more lovable people.

There's just few words to explain the cousine of this little gem run by a young entrepreneur and his resident chef...a Rainbow of Taste!! Folie restaurant has the numbers to became soon a must visit site for all the people who loves food with an artistic twist. Antonio Raffaele resident Chef, Sommelier and Pastry Chef of the Folie will take you on a Rollercoaster of tasting joy for the palate. The degustation menu is a trip of Salento's best products, all the dishes are superbly presented and the taste it's just a blow of sensations! The service of the Staff very attentive and the host Giovanni always very pleasant. The menu a la carte is very well structured and the wine list offer a great choice of the best that Italy and France can offer. At the end of your dinner you realize that three hours have just pass by tasting amazing food and great company and the cost of it nothing compare with the quality of food and service. This restaurant has been open just few months but had gain already the attention who deserve it, remember the name of Folie and his Chef Antonio Raffaele I bet that the way to the first Star Michelin is just around the corner. See you soon again!!

In Lecce for business for 2 days. Invited to this restaurant with a party of 8 from mixed nationalities. I have been numerous times in Italy and have been taken to many good places but this was by far my best experience. We started with a vast choice of dishes with cooked, smoked, grilled and raw fish. Our main was Sea-bass in salt crust and had again a vast choice of deserts. Divine...I would go back any time!!

Loved this restaurant. The service was outstanding and the fact they could speak English was a big bonus for us. Loved the different choices on the menu and the waiter advice was always spot on. Fantastic to be able to eat a take away pizza at the restaurant tables and not be charged. Couldn't do that here in australia. They went out of their way to make a specially ordered dinner with rabbit which they sourced especially for us and wow it was wonderful. First time for my daughter and I to have rabbit done the traditional southern italian way. Delicious !!!!! A big thank you to all the staff there and accomodating me in my wheelchair. We were visiting there over a 3 month period from May to August this year.

The name says it all. "Li Spilusi" in Salento dialect are the ones who always want to satisfy "lu spilu" (the whim). A welcoming and modern aesthetics, but in the old kitchen where you work to keep alive the culinary traditions of Salento (Puglia).
Simple restaurant with great food and service. The owner is fantastic and made us feel very welcome. We were lucky to be accompanied with an Italian family of four generations celebrating a Birthday. Over 25 people, grandparents and cousins.Food was great!

It was once an underground quarry which was later used to store wine (the enormous, old barrels are still there). The food was delicious, service impeccable (very professional staff) and when we had finished, the chef came out to see if we were satisfied with our meal. They even bake their own bread. Everything was accompanied by the wonderful wines from the nearby Apollonio Winery which we had visited earlier in the evening. All in all, a fantastic experience and we will definitely be going back again.

Bakery And Restaurant That Use Only Fresh Local Products Based On Fish, Meat And Vegetables. Sweet And Salty.
Friendly warn welcome awaits, fun local restaurant (which is a bakery during the day). Comfortable modern interior with some amusing quirky additions. Food is excellent. we had a mixed ceviche platter to begin and pasta for mains. There are some excellent deserts on display, presumably made by the bakery during the day, which are well worth leaving room for! Excellent wine recommendations.
