Set in the countryside, historical site since 1929, La Botte started as a wine retail shop, then became a tavern and in 1962 Cascino family transformed it in a top restaurant. The style is rustic but elegant, with a large, open fireplace, conserved over t
Went here with group of friends after Monreale Cathedral. Wonderful to sit and look at the view, full of locals. Tasty antipastos and pasta, local wines. Fun atmosphere.

We enjoyed an excellent pizza here in a very cosy setting tucked away near the cathedral. The restaurant was extremely busy towards the end of the evening, but that might have been because there was a festival on. In any case we would recommend going early, maybe about half seven.

This place just blew our mind! We were strolling around looking for somewhere to eat and just behind a few orange and lime trees we could see this cute little restaurant overlooking the valley and Palermo down below...we wondered this is going to be expensive but decided to stay and eat due to its beautiful view and location..and it did not disappoint we ate so well from the antipasto of mixed Sicilian delicacies to a wonderful plate of Penne with rags and to finish off the involtini that we just couldn't eat being so full ( which we took home with us) we both had a wonderful glass of wine and coffee and the best part? When we got the bill it was much less than we had ever imagined...so please go take the walk and find this awesome, delicious restaurant and enjoy the food and the view..

Sicily is a region of Italy where is al ost impossible to not eat well. Even though this was not the best meal we had in our tour in Sicily we were happy with the quality and the service. Good value for money. The location is very nice and convenient (close to the duomo, in the very center of Monreale). Special mention for the kindness of the owner/manager. Tip: if you eat fish ask for the wine Charme. It is an amazingly good sparkling white wine.

Let's face it, Monreale is full of tourists, and there are plenty of tourist traps in the town. We were lucky to find this place, and considering how close it is to the cathedral, it's amazing how good it was. There was pleasant outdoor seating, the service was friendly and efficient (well, we weren't in a rush anyway). The food was good, fresh, and well-prepared, on a high quality level.

Restaurant specializing in fine meats and excellent Italian wines. We serve typical Sicilian dishes revisited by our chef Alessandro Spina
Ate a quick lunch here. It was divine! Casarecce with a piglet ragu was a taste explosion. The best pasta dish Iâve eaten in Sicily (ate last night at Da Vittorio and that was excellent but this was better). The homemade pasta cooked perfectly. The richness of the ragu left your mouth singing with flavours. We also ate homemade ravioli filled with burreta with a pea purée sauce and toasted almonds to give texture. They have a wonderful selection of aged beef and a great wine list. Finish off with a trip round the wonderful cathedral at Montreale and you have a day to remember. The pasta dishes are between 10 and 12 euros. Amazing!

After Sunday Mass it was already open and we sat down to at that point empty but once we left completely full restaurant. The presentation is formal but still they were relaxed with the two pre-teens. Fish especially nice. Best meal in Sicily.

Really excellent. Good food, good service & reasonably priced. We went early in the evening so the restaurant was fairly quiet. Well worth a visit.

We were so graciously accommodated although the tables were full. Owners made us feel welcome although we arrived late without a reservation. Cheese board and specialty cheeses (incredible mozzarella and ricotta) were unequivocally the best of our trip in Sicily. Do not hesitate to savor the cooking and specialties of this small and quite delightful restaurant. It is clear, that everything here is prepared with love and passion.
