Intimate, casual/fine, 100% authentic Italian restaurant. You will feel as if you were in Italy itself and were lucky enough to find it! ;)
Toronto business trip had us here for supper, based on online reviews. Very high service standard with friendly, personalized and attentive staff. Food was delicious. I am serious, just excellent quality food prepared and presented as though it were at your grandmotherâs house on Sunday.Hats off to a true family run business that truly treats their clients as family. Will revisit when back in Toronto.

We have been a local favourite in the community since we opened in March 2011. We offer traditional Italian food in a cozy Italian-like setting either inside or on our beautiful patio. Thereâs no better place to enjoy fresh hot pizza from our Moretti Forn
First time here, quaint little place with rustic decor and a nice patio. Food is solid.Appetizers-- the mixed charcuterie antipasto is beautifully presented, and the calamari is crisp and tender. The meatballs have a great marina sauce that's not too acidic.Mains-- pizzas were thin-crusted and yummy. The pasta del mare had ample seafood and the shrimps were plump. The smoked duck carbonara was rather bland and the sauce was definitely not the egg-based carbonara i was expecting-- it was more like and olive oil sauce. Veal marsala was just ok-- again, on the bland side. Desserts-- The lava cake was really good and the tiramisu had good amaretto flavour. Better than average cappuccino too. Bonus-- you can get vicinity points at this place!Service was kind and attentive throughout. This is definitely one of the better Italian places around!

Enjoyed an excellent Italian meal with friends at this popular restaurant in Clarkson Village on Lakeshore in Mississauga. The service was friendly and efficient and on Mondays they have 1/2 price wine bottles! Perfect for a casual meal after the movies. The pizzas were delicious as well as the salads - beet salad and caesar highly recommended. I had the wild boar agnolotti which was delicious. The large room and high ceilings however do make for a noisy atmosphere - so not recommended for a quiet, romantic meal.

Pasta dishes were ok, nothing spectacular to rave about. Really disappointed with their toffee pudding. It was so dry that it seems that it was over-microwaved. Service was good and friendly though thatâs why Iâm giving it a 3 rating. If it wasnât for the service, I probably would have given a 2 rating. Will we return? Unfortunately, no.

Average food in my opinion. Ordinary as any fine Italian dining restaurant. The reason itâs hyped as much as it is, is because Mississauga doesnât have many Italian choices to choose from. I found the menu limited and prices steep. The only positive is the convenient location in my view; steps away from Square One. Service and hospitality is great; waiters are very attentive and warm/welcoming. But the food doesnât match up. I would say downtown Toronto has far better options for fine dining Italian.

Had a lovely dinner with my Mom last evening. There was a mushroom and stout soup that was wonderful (not too salty, which I often find is the case with their soups). We both had the grilled octopus salad - the octopus was cooked to perfection!!

Spent a wonderful evening with family in this cozy Italian restaurant. The service was amazing, very helpful and professional. Great variety of Italian Mediterranean cuisine. Rainbow trout special was amazing as was gnocchi... actually everything! Portion sizes were perfect. And homemade bread was perfect.

Piatto Bistro is a wonderful restaurant that offers delicious food. We have had several functions there over the years, and recently returned to have lunch with a friend. Their cuisine is Italian based with some fusion. Portions are not large, but will satisfy your appetite. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the wait staff are attentive without being bothersome. Good food, lovely atmosphere and a great place to enjoy s good meal. Bon apetitto!
