Things to do in Mildura
Sitting quietly in Deakin Ave in Mildura is the Cottonwood Motor Inn where a two day conference was held in October and the event basically took up the whole place. The hospitality was warm and inviting and the owners could not do enough for the conference organiser and delegates. The conference food was home-style and enjoyable using fresh local produce. The conference dinner was a la carte and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. However, there was a new chef on board who did not know where everything was in the kitchen, so our main meal was delayed, but Ivan supplied the tables with extra garlic bread and wine to stave off our hunger. When the meals arrived the comments were very positive but when dessert arrived for me, the Crepe suzette, came flaming to the table and caused a bit of excitement. Such a traditional dessert that seems to have disappeared from menus these days, but the Buona Sera certainly has re-ignited this dessert. The only downside to the two days was the "wildlife" that inhabited the loos and the foyer. But apart from these little spiders, all was brilliant and Ivan and Malcom Baker should be congratulated on their family business that is not pretentious nor glitzy - but down to earth and homely. Welcome, guys.
Nice tasting pizza here. I have to wonder what passes as a 'large' pizza these days, and probably shouldn't any longer get all wrinkled by the shrinking size, but it is a pesky issue, and this place is no exception.Having said that, this pizza was one of the tastiest I have had in quite a while. I'd probably buy here again, but will always wonder where the 'large' pizza have gone.

authentic Italian pizzas & cuisine imported ingredients everything home made . private functions- birthdays - dinning out -or just simply catching up with friends just for coffee & sweets
Never in my life have a been so embarrassed publicly. So we ordered pasta and gnocchi, my husband gets the wrong food and luckily says its OK however I ordered the gnocchi with four cheese sauce and had to send it back as it was inedible clearly had been in the fridge for too long and not cooked. So I go to the loo and when I come back both owners at my table yelling and sticking their hands in my returned food saying that I would not know good gnocchi (apparently I have only had supermarket ones) and then proceeded to mash it up in their hands in front of other patrons - I was horrified. These people would not know good customer service if it slapped them.We have had pizza from here before and it was good but if they treat people like this I will never go back

Great location, good variety, fast service and nice food, BUT I ordered the Barramundi which came with chips. I asked for mash instead which was served with other dishes but they refused which i thought a little unreasonable ! Great place to take kids and for large groups

Ordered the largest size and it was more than enough to feed 1 adult and 2 kids (still had a couple of pieces left over!) toppings were generous although the pizza was a little oily (although thatâs to be expected!) will order from here again.

Ate here passing through Mildura.A seriously good Italian restaurant.Prompt, friendly service.A good wine list, we had a quite lovely modern chianti.Entrees of grilled sardines and kingfish carpaccio both nicely done with excellent produce.Slow roasted goat was tender, great flavour. The crayfish pasta likewise beautifully executed.Priced reasonably for the quality. This place fully deserves its reputation.

This is the place for amazing pizzas.Much better than those franchise type. The only down side I thought it was crammed with tables in chairs. No space. But they do have out door dining, and take awaysIf a few chairs and tables were removed so the atmosphere didn't feel like sardines packed then it would be Top notch

We hadnât been to Stefanoâs for some years, and it was wonderful to find that the standards havenât slipped at all: friendly service, interesting winelist, and delicious food. The sformato had us in raptures! Kudos to the Sommelier: knowledgeable and helpful.

Stefano's Cafe is an informal space offering quality Vittoria coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch. It is also a retail outlet for Stefano's produce, which includes olive oil, cook books, preserves, wine and Mildura Brewery beer. Also a stockist for Murray
We were warmly welcomed by all staff. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Great to experience Eggs Benedict with hollondaise sauce freshly made.
