Even with the new compact menu, Rocca is my choice for best Italian food in Glen Rock. We went recently with another couple and as always, the service was good and the food was better. All four of us enjoyed everything we ordered and each of us had plenty to eat plus plenty to bring home for another meal. The prices are moderate. There is plenty of free parking in the rear plus street parking in front on Rock Rd.

What a great find. Awesome. Absolutely awesome. The people who work here are so nice and friendly. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Can't say enough good things about this place. What I like about this restaurant is that you can bring your own beer or wine. I highly recommend.

Four of us for dinner.Everything is so fresh and of such high quality. The menu is small however everything that was presented looked and tasted great. The 2 apps were enough for the four of us and these dishes were standouts. The fish entree was superb as was the lasagna. Arturo's Restaurant in Midland Park, NJ offers fine dining with a Sicilian flare.
If you're looking for one of Bergen County's most authentic Italian restaurants, look no further than Arturo's; your eyes and the tongue will understand this establishment's beauty without difficulty. I came here for my 20th birthday, and what a dinner it was; arancini, tomatoes, and spaghetti alla carbonara with great service.

I have driven past this place for 25 years. I stopped in at the suggestion of family and was quite surprised. Larger crowd than I expected for a weekday. The eggplant parmigiana sandwich was so large I brought half home. Excellent pasta dishes. The place could use additional seating in the restaurant area. We sat in the âpizza takeoutâ area at a long family style bench. Some high top tables rounded out the seating choices. Iâm would return. Fair prices for good food.

We celebrated my daughters birthday on a Wednesday night. We sat outside on a beautiful evening in May and waited 10 minutes at 7:30.The menu is not extensive but quality apps, salads, pizza and pastas. We started with the shrimp gamberi, salad, and grilled octopus special. The grilled octopus was excellent. For entrees, we had pizza, tagliatelle and orchiette pastas. The pastas were very tasty with nice additions like sausage and truffles. My only regret was it didnât know it was a BYOB and I was too lazy to walk a few blocks to the wine store. Next time.

Recently had dinner at La Lanterna and the meal was prepared to perfection. The Cesar salad contained the ideal amount of flavoring a la light dressing, the salad greens were ideally trimmed and crisp, and the parmesan cheese was shaved to perfection. The "Fresh Pesto Alla Genovese with Grilled Shrimp" was precisely balanced with just enough olive oil, pesto, and sprinkled with shrimp so as the sum total of ingredients created an entity of its own, with not any one ingredient shouting out.An excellent choice when you are searching for that ideal Tuscan Italian restaurant.

Fiona's Ristorante is a family-owned white tablecloth restaurant, featuring a classic Italian menu with globally eclectic daily specials. We serve beautiful and creative food crafted from the freshest ingredients. Dinners include salad, artisan Italian br
We found out that we would not need reservations for a late afternoon meal with another couple. We had fast service, a good table and all four meals were first rate. That can be easier said than done when it is Good Friday and Passover and one couple is Jewish and the other Catholic. The wait staff is most efficient and friendly. The menu has a nice variety of dishes. And the appetizers are big enough that they can easily be shared.

It was my daughterâs choice to go to Savini to celebrate her birthday and I have to say...this restaurant has so much class. We were welcomed so warmly as if we were family with extended birthday wishes to my daughter. Service was exceptional! We were all surprised when we were given our menus with a personal Happy Birthday written on it (I mean talk about class!). We each ordered something different and no one was disappointed. We finished with a round of Cappuccino and, again, a personalized happy birthday dessert! This restaurant serves not only delicious food but the attention to detail and service sparkles! Nicely done Savini! Thank you for visiting us. It's always nice to learn that we have exceeded expectations and especially on such an important occasion as your daughter's birthday. We never lose sight that you, as all of our guests, especially now due to the wonders of the web, have a range of options available to you when seeking out a business to meet your needs. Therefore, your praise today means more than ever. Thanks again and hope to see you soon!

We visited Rosario's for a casual birthday dinner. I didn't think it would be much more than a pizzeria with a few other entrees offered and a counter service person taking orders. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the dining room is separate from the pizzeria....white tablecloths, excellent waiter service with a relaxed, casual vibe.We had the chicken parmigiana, stuffed rigatoni with shrimp in a pink pesto and linguine with clam sauce. We shared calamari for starters and a pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious, portions large enough that we had to take home doggie bags. Prices are higher than what you would expect for a pizzeria, but as I said, the trattoria is a separate experience from the pizzeria. We did save by bringing our own bottle of wine...it's a byob.
