Miami Gardens is a suburban city located in north-central Miami-Dade County, Florida. Its boundaries stretch from I-95 and NE 2nd Avenue on the east, to NW 47th and NW 57th Avenues on the west, and from the Broward County line on the north, to 151st Street on the south. The city name comes from one of the major roadways through the area, Miami Gardens Drive. According to a 2011 estimate from the US Census Bureau, the city had a population of 109,680, and it is the largest city in Florida that has a majority African American population. It is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to an estimated 6,012,331 people at the 2015 census.

Met some friends here after this place was recommended to them. Aside from the very tight parking lot, we knew it would be good as soon as we walked in. It was packed with couples and families. The food was really delicious and the service was excellent. You do need a reservation as the place can be very crowded and it isn't quiet but not boisterous either. It was a total surprise to find a reasonably priced, excellent Italian restaurant that we had not previously discovered. We certainly will be back!!

Always a must go when in Aventura, the wait for the table was short even though the place is always packed. The service always excellent, plenty of choices from pizzas, to pastas, salads, wings, and italian specialties. We tried the salads, pizzas, soups and lasagna, everything was excellent. They also have great options for kids. By the way portions are really big, depending of your appetite is recommended to share

This Venture is part of a large chain and is located in Kendall, Fla. (27 locations in this state)The place has a large Bar and Bar seating and a separate seating area. Menu include beside the pizza, traditional Italian food presented in a particular nice style, Salads and Coal Oven Sandwiches and Desserts.Food is nice, served in good portions well presented. We like to patronize locally-owned restaurants, so sought out this little gem and have been twice in the last month. We like to sit at the bar for a cocktail and dinner. The bartender is very personable and service is spot-on. The burrata with proscuitto, eggplant rollatini, pasta with meatballs, pasta fagioli...all delicious, and generous portions. Nice pours on wine, too. The owner is also a very nice woman who we enjoy having a quick chat with.

I grew up in Miramar, and like anyone else who has, I can tell you Antonio's has arguably the best pizza in S Florida. This pizza has the perfect New York thin crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and they don't skimp with the toppings. I love the Sicilian slice too, nice and thick. I've had just about everything on the menu since 1985 or so, and I've loved every bite.

Service is a little bit confuse but friendly. We order, Ciambota, cobia and eggplant, ok not outstanding, for sure the bakery, where you will order the dessert is in another level, outstanding. Prices are medium range, $30/person including tip and beer.

We went to La Famiglia for dinner with friends. The decor is casual and the service was attentive and friendly. We were served garlic rolls to start. They were full of garlic and really good.I had the Seafood Combination, which I liked a lot. It was over linguini with lots of mussels, clams, shrimp, etc. in a marinara sauce. I had the calamari appetizer. It was a little bland. My wife had the linguini with white clam sauce. She reported it as quite good. The presentation was quite attractive with a ring of clams surrounding the linguini. Our friends had shrimp scampi with a garlic lemon and white wine sauce over linguini. It was reported as very good. Our other guest had chicken parmigiana, which he liked very much.The best part of the meal was the Chocolate Volcano dessert. It was a song chocolate cake filled with chocolate sauce and vanilla gelato, again with chocolate sauce. It was rich, flavorful, and delicious.This is a good neighborhood restaurant with reasonable prices.I would go back.
