Buca used to be one of my husband and my favorite for Italian. Not any more! First of all they had the best salads, fresh crisp romaine lettuce in their garden salads with a light an fantastic dressing. Not any more! We went for lunch and I was craving one of their salads.....what I got was this awful pile of "mixed greens" (forest weeds if you ask me). When I asked our waiter what was going on, he said corporate decided on this.....and a lot of people were complaining. I bet they were! So, one more try for this place and ordered chicken parmesan. Chicken crispy, a nice light sauce, covered with cheese baked in the oven. My husband thought their's was the best. Not any more! It was served to us (I don't know how they had the nerve). Covered in what I call slop! You know that diced tomatoes they serve on toasted bread? That. On top of the cheese, so it wasn't melted at all. It was absolutely gross! We had to scrape it off. Our meal ruined. When we asked out waitress, she said corporate thought this was a good idea. When we said it was awful and weren't able to eat it, we still had to pay! Too bad, you don't like it. Corporate mandates we serve it like this. We will NEVER return. No more buca for us. Too many better restaurants for us to waste our money at buca.We are sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience . Fills up fast! Go early. Dinners do not come with salad, just bread. My husband had spaghetti with 2 large meatballs and I had a garlic shrimp linguine. Both were delicious. Look at the little menu by the salt and pepper shakers. There is a special menu for 3-6 p.m.

I've been to Oregano's many times and do not recall getting out of here under $50 bones. Well, today it happened and I couldn't even finish it all. It all started when Lady Friend wanted a salad for lunch and I wanted something filling. Women always make it difficult when finding a place to eat, today would be no different. For Lady Friend, when she doesn't know what she wants to eat, it limits what choices on what I get to eat. So, I used this classic move I had seen on the internet. If it's on the internet, gotta be true, right? Anywhoo, Lady Friend asked me where we're going to eat? I told her, " to one of your favorite places, and to guess where?" She said Oregano's...I told her.."Who's my favorite Emotional Support Pet!" The tactic worked like a charm, Lady Friend ordered the anti pasta salad, and I did the house salad and slice of pizza. All this off the Midday Menu and under $20 bones. Gotta say, it was all good and I recommend Orgegano's for not only the food, but the ambiance as well.

Ever since a friend brought us a piece of limoncello cake, weâve wanted to eat here, but itâs a 30 minute drive. Worth it! The marinara sauce is so good. I asked if they sell it to take some home, but the waitress looked at me funny... The lasagna was excellent and it would be hard not to get that again. The pasta ala baci was very good as well. Of course, we had to have the cake. There is also a coupon on their website on the internet which can save you $5 or $10.

This location has moved to 96 S Rockford Dr in Tempe. It has increased in size tenfold. They have added things to their menu and they now have a bar. The new building is reminiscent of Culinary dropout. It's industrial decor makes for a very noisy environment even if it's not too busy. The booths are comfortable but each booth has two chairs that are not comfortable at all. The patio looks nice but is extremely noisy as it's right over the road and air traffic goes right over it. The patio also has these uncomfortable metal chairs only these are black. If you're not from here, then you might not know that you can't have black metal chairs in sunlight for over 75% of the year. They've only been open a week or two but the outside black metal chairs were covered with dust. We had the happy hour stuffed mushrooms which are huge and delicious. The house wine was very good. The Penne alla Vodka was good although it could have used more sausage, it was $13.50. The 4 Cheese Ravioli was delicious and was $13.50. Both of these might be considered a little high in price but the servings were large enough that we had leftovers for lunch the next day. It would be nice if a small salad were included with the meals.

The food here is fantastic! My favorite is the special lasagna - I get it every time I am here for dinner. I've also have the puttanesca (really good) and the bolognese (tastes like what I had in Italy). The service is good too, but expect to wait a bit for a table as it is always crowded here.

Thurs night was 2 for 1, who can resist this offer. Got there early 5:16 pm, wow, place was packed, but they found us a table for 2. Drinks were on Happy Hour. Ordered their special Pizza, came perfect, thin crust cooked to perfection. We have been a Vitoâs customer for over 30 years. We knew the original Vitoâs Family, Mom And. Pop Their recipe has never changed. We are blessed with many excellenti Pizza-establishments in our Valley. Vitoâs is right up there with the best. No disappointments here.
