This is a place for pizzas. A very big selection of pizzas. They are very large and more than enough to share. We ordered 4 and brought home most. The salads are very good as well. The server was very cordial and attentive. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Great to sit outside with plenty of shade areas during the day.

I vacation in Merano every summer. I discovered this restaurant last year and dined very often. I arrived to Meran this year and the first evening dined here. The pizza and service was good. Four days later I invited a Local family for dinner. I tried to book a reservation and was told they do not take reservations, as we were 5 adults 2 children. We arrived it was very hot and could not get a table outside so sat inside. The service person thought we were all foreigners, I speak German with an accent. When the children wanted to customize their pizza, the service person just rolled her eyes. Later, when she realized the family were a local family the attitude changed. ( at the end of the night). There was a table behind us with a dog. The dog had an accident and the owner ran outside with the dog to prevent any further damage The puddle of urine sat on the foor inside the restaurant for at least 10min before anyone cleaned it up. It was in the flow of the kitchen and everyone walked around it. I will think 2wice about dining here again. The pizza is very good, but the service let me down.

I was so happy to hear that this place offers also gluten free pizzas .... wrong as they do not offer them anymore ... shameWe ordered chips, pizza, pumpkin soup and fresh salad, wine and beer.1. Pizza was good, nothing excellent but just ok a good pizza.2. Pumpkin soup: In the card they offer zuchini and pumpkin soup, I asked the waitress for recommendation ... she was annoyed and said eat pumpkin ... so we did. The soup was with no taste at all, I had impression that the pumpkin was not ready cooked but mixed / it did taste more like raw pumpkin or potato. I ate 3 spoons.3. Salad - the card menu claims that they offer fresh ingredients, the more was a disappointment when I got clean salad with corn out of a tin.4. Beer - the glass was full in 70% / no go at all, we told the waiter that the glass is not full this might happen, he tried to explain that the foam of the beer will fall and beer will go up ....5. Wine ... red wine was served very cold, so cold that the glass was water sweating .... well I could imagine how good this wine could have been when properly servedShame but we will not come back.

A beautiful, old building with an amazing view over Merano and the valley. It would be the perfect place for a light lunch or a drink. Sadly it is grossly overpriced. Admittedly I have only had a tea, but at over 5 Euro, I thought that adding a pastry would have been just extravagant. Yes, it was a loose leave tea and it even had a minute biscuit, but still..........

We have been to Merano many times, always during Autumn. We visited Lalessandra many times, food way always great and the location nice and tradional (a classical Italian Fish Restaurant, with the owner going around and giving advices about what to eat and to drink). We have been there now again some days ago, and: the food war terrible, and the owner very unfriedly. Needless to say that this was a bad surprise. Won't go there anymore for sure!

Now quite difficult to fine one place popular prices and have good qualities. This place its one of some left. Noisy, nearrow, not romantic, serving like " I don't care", but qualities of foods will make you forgot all, more after look in to the bill, you can wear sunglass, look cool and say "I will be back".

Small but cozy trattoria just rinnovata. The availability 'reaches forty seats. Located almost in the center of Merano.
A very small but cosy place, that you should visit for sure! The only problem was the prices for the wines, even there were local ones, it was just too high (30 euros for a bottle), the houseâ wine was not the best at all, but thanks to the yummy food everything was ok at the end!

A friend took me to this slightly out of the way restaurant (its correct name is actually Roberts Stube im Felsenkeller) the other night. We only had one course, the beef tartar served with freshly baked bread. Both were absolutely excellent and a steal at Euro 10. I am not sure whether the other food is good too,, except that looking at what other guests eat it looked delicious. Book for dinner

Sissi is an amazing restaurant in the heart of Bolzano. The cuisine is traditional Italian dishes with some interesting interpretation. The chef himself, Andrea Fenoglio, is in the restaurant all the time, talking to guests and giving advice, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend it!
