Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Memphis is a pilgrimage for those wanting to visit the birthplace of the blues, of soul and of rock 'n' roll. On Beale Street, W.C. Handy put down on paper the first written blues music. Elvis, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash all recorded at the historic Sun Records, which is now a museum. Graceland, the second most-visited home in America, welcomes visitors from around the world who yearn for a peek into the life of "the King." Beyond the music, Tennessee's largest city also offers much more. It has more sunny days each year than Miami, and combines southern tradition and hospitality with modern amenities. You'll enjoy great dining (be sure to sample the barbecued ribs), art galleries and exciting nightlife.

The roots of the Grisanti culinary tradition date to 1505 in Valdottavo, an Italian village near Lucca. My great-grandfather, Rinaldo Grisanti, emigrated from northern Italy in 1909 in pursuit of the American Dream. Arriving at Ellis Island with little mo
The menu for food and wine was extensive, offering what would seem something for everyone. We were a group of six and were seated at a booth which was very nice though the booth by us was VERY loud so it was difficult to hear when we were first seated. Two salads were ordered and both the Caesar and the wedge were very fresh and flavorful. The beef and filets were cooked as requested and quite tender. The Gorgonzola fillet didn't seem to have much cheese. The tortellini was very good but not as plentiful as hoped. The saltimbocca was spot on. The service was pleasant but could have been more attentive during the meal for refills of drinks and bread.

This Aldo's is located on the Main Street trolly route which makes for an entertaining meal experience. There is an outside sidewalk experience which we did. I had the meat balls and added pasta and marinara sauce. She had the chicken pasta dish, both for $10 each. Great flavor, budget price and great service from Jeana B.

Went in to get out of the snow and headed to the bar. Happy hour is 4pm till 6pm (but at 5.45 we didn't realise so went to the main menu). Wish the bar staff had let us know. Anyway tried a local beer and a chardonnay and took the special which has all the salumi, cheese & dips. Lots of food and lots of flavour for $38. Place started to fill up as we left. The use of fresh local produce all prepared on site make for a nice restaurant.
