Melilla, along with Ceuta, is one of two permanently inhabited Spanish cities in mainland Africa. It was part of the Province of Málaga until 14 March 1995, when the city's Statute of Autonomy was passed.

It was soooooo good. The service was great, the food amazing...if we lived in Melilla, weâd be here every week. We had the Jack Daniels burger, the Barbacoa pizza and the burrito...we also had an order of the appetizer nachos. We also had the panna cotta, chocolate cake, tiramisu... the burger and pizza are some of the best Iâve had...the burrito is ok, but i was just sad I didnât order a burger. This is a gem...great food, great service, fair price!!!

For those travellers who are tired of the battle between Morrocan and Spanish cultures in this strange little territory Anthony's offers the perfect solution. This is a top draw authentic Italian Pizzeria, complete with traditional pizza oven, friendly service and pictures of the proprietor with a host of celebrities on the wall.As with most Mellilan restaurants it opens at 9, aim to be there early or book ahead as this place is popular with both tourists and locals alike.
