Sam's has the best slice in Canonsburg. easy to find, (right beside Saris), and orders are ready within a reasonable amount of time. The sauce here is what makes the pizza delicious! Order up, BUT bring along the cash.....cash only at this establishment. There is an ATM on property

Our restaurant in the heart of the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Franco's Trattoria of Peter's Township offers the best in fine Italian cuisine. As a family-owned-and-operated restaurant, our staff is dedicated to providing you with a combination of exquisit
We visited Franco's for our anniversary and it was very good, clean, fast and excellent service. I had the Maryland crabcakes which were excellent. The fried zucchini seems to be a specialty and was very good as well. The portions were very generous. Our server Josh was excellent. Overall, pleasant experience.

Italian in Pittsburgh usually means red sauce. If you want something good, unique and great tasting. Then you need to try Bado's Cusina. It is basically tapas done Italian. There is pasta and there is some red sauce if you look for it. From Anti pasta to dessert it is unique in Pittsburgh and all good. Its BYOB so no bar. Intimate room and a reservation is required.

We ate at Fiori's Pizzeria a number of times after moving to McMurray in late 2016 and also ordered take-out. Out meal of choice has consistently been a sausage and mushroom pizza and salad. While Fiori's does not make a Neapolitan thin crust pizza, they do prepare their crust by hand and had always honored my request for thin crust. The tomato sauce was thick and full of flavor of traditional Italian herbs. The salad is primarily iceberg lettuce and some fixings (not my preferred darker mixed greens) but the balsamic dressing made up for the bland iceberg. It had been some months since our last visit so we thought a Fiori's pizza and salad was long overdue at 8:00 on a Tuesday evening. The first disappointment was a flat rejection of my request for a thinner crust. Although there were only a couple of occupied tables, we then waited much longer than usual for our salad to drive. When I did not see dressing and asked for some I was informed that the salad had dressing. Upon tasting, what dressing there was tasted of very dilute white vinegar and sugar. The balsamic was missed and any hint of herbs or garlic was missing. The pizza arrived some ten minutes after the salad. The edge of the crust was nicely baked but the rest of the crust was moist and gummy from the overly-generous heavy, sweet tomato sauce that lacked even a hint of Italian herbs or or seasoning. There was an abundance of canned mushrooms and what little sausage the pizza contained was as lacking in seasoning as the sauce.Husband has never met a pizza he didn't like... until now. He likened the the sauce to ketchup. The pizza was boxed, spent two days in the fridge, then tossed.I don't know what happened to Fiori's in the months since we last ate there, We do know that we'll not return.

If you are looking for coal fired pizza (a little burnt and thin crust) then this is the place in Peters Twp. I do love the wings here they are baked in the pizza oven not fried. Excellent flavor can be a good starter or a meal. Dont forget to try the meatball also

A good place to gather with friends and family. Very kind staff. Over all the pizza is fine, not my favorite but definitely not the worst pizza in town. Something with the pizza didnât sit well for our group. Four members of our group are having stomach issues from our visit last night. Of course this doesnât happen all the time but because of this experience and the fact there are better pizza joints in the area, I donât see us coming back.

Palazzo 1837 Ristorante is the area's premier Italian dining experience. Located south of Pittsburgh in Washington, PA, Palazzo 1837 specializes in old-fashioned Northern and Southern Italian dishes - steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, and veal. Nestled aga
The ambiance of the restaurant was special in that the owner sought to keep an old inn atmosphere with smaller rooms. We had ten people for graduation in a semiprivate space, which allowed for easily heard conversation. All of our meals received rave reviews from the fabulous Caesar Salad with horse radish to a variety of pasta and fish dishes. There was one concern that a filet was not rare enough.Service was attentive without hovering.Enjoy!

This was our first time dining here and we had an amazing dinner. Our table was called a âchefs tableâ and we were seated near the chefs station. We could watch everything being prepared which was interesting. Our server, Rachel, took excellent care of us! As it was our first time she helped us order the Chilean Sea Bass and Rainbow Trout which were both outstanding! Cooked to perfection and delicious. Every entree comes with salad and vodka pasta- both outstanding as well. We ended with a Belgium chocolate parfait that we split. Portion sizes were big and we had leftovers boxed. Overall we had an intimate and special dinner together!

I ate lunch here with friends yesterday and enjoyed the visit. I didn't know the area and drove around a bit as on street parking was impossible. I then discovered that there were large free parking areas behind the building and also behind the buildings across the street so check those out when you visit. We tried to make a reservation through Open Table, as indicated on the restaurant's website but couldn't as the OT website said they were no longer participating. I then called the restaurant to reserve and was put through to voice mail. I left a message asking them to call me back as a wanted to make a reservation and couldn't through OT but never received a callback from the restaurant. If it was just me, I wouldn't have eaten here given this difficulty.Once in the restaurant, it was very pleasant and quiet enough that we could converse without shouting. Next time we might try their outside patio, with its fountains and umbrellas as it looked very nice. Our server was excellent and attentive and as is a must for me, she refilled our water glasses without our needing to ask. We all ordered the wedding soup as a starter and it was very good. The bread and dipping oil that they brought without our asking was also quite good. One friend ordered the salmon salad and reported that it was excellent. My other friend ordered the chicken pasta in cream sauce and loved it. I ordered the shrimp linguine in olive oil and it was nicely flavored and delicious. I wish there had been more than 3 shrimp in the linguine but the ones that were there were very fresh and succulent.I would definitely visit this restaurant again as the food was great. Hopefully, they will have worked out the reservations issue by that time.Thank you, Jasgld, for your helpful and positive feedback. We are thrilled to read that you enjoyed our delicious food, attentive service, and comfortable surroundings. We thank you for letting us know about your reservation issue so that we can immediately correct this. We apologize for this. We hope that your next visit is right around the corner. Thank you, Jasgld.
