I'm more hesitant to give 5/5 to places...but I'm sorry, OG is easily the BEST sit-down Italian chain restaurant there is. Why a 5 rating? Because it's a destination restaurant - the food is above average, there's a good variety of "normal" Italian dishes that would please anyone, they can accommodate large parties, and their breadsticks and salad combo is the BEST of it's kind, chain restaurant or not. I had the chicken giardino due to the great taste and lighter calories, and something I would order again because I find it a good use of calories :) Good service for a large party of 10+, no issues with our orders, bill was accurate...just a wonderful experience. Would recommend!

First off, I am a foodie and very critical. Ordered food to go. Simple order of Chicken Parm, and thin crust veggie pizza. The pizza was so soggy. Thin crust, soggy pizza? It was terrible. I've had a pie here once before and it was decent, but nothing more than that. The chicken parm... I will try not to swear... awful!! with two exclamation points. They served me a heated frozen chicken parm from walmart, or Sam's (not homemade as advertised). At first I was annoyed at the portion. Thank goodness they only gave me one little piece on top of the softest pile of starch I had ever seen. They don't know what Al Dente' means. If you are going out to eat good food, just stay away from here. It does have a nice patio. It's great to be able to BYOB and it is close to home, but so disappointing. This review is indicative of most of the restaurants popping up all over town, and some that have been here and since waned in quality. If you want fine dining in McKinney, stick to downtown, and maybe you will get lucky.Hi Mark,First off, thank you for being a customer. I am glad that you at least enjoy our patio and BYOB. However, I am very sorry that you were not happy with your food ordered to go. There are some of the specialty pizzas that we serve that retain their crispiness best at table-side vs. to-go. Some of the vegetarian choices may contain more moisture content and do not transport quite as well, but all of our pizzas can be re-heated to your desired level of crispiness. I understand that re-heating should not be a requirement - and it is not, but this can be the nature of any thin crust pizza if you are not enjoying that pizza right away. As for the pasta... While gourmet pizza is our specialty, the majority of our customers love our Chicken Parm dish as well as our other pasta dishes. While we do not advertise that the chicken for the dish is homemade, it is procured from an Italian vendor and a much higher quality from what has been suggested. The pasta is prepared fresh daily and the individual dishes prepared freshly as orders are received. I do again apologize that your particular meal was not to your liking and that your pasta was over-done. I hope that we have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. We truly want our customers to enjoy their dining experience with us and continually look for ways to make improvements. Kind Regards,Brock Tyler - Owner

Om: The best âfastâ pizza along with Pizza Hut for me. I had a small cheese pizza which was excellent, and only about 1k calories for the entire thing! Marcoâs does everything right, from the crust to the cheese, even the service â the employees may give you an additional discount if any are available too, really cool. Never disappointed when we get a pizza from Marcoâs!Nom: do you know what I like best about this pizza? The cheese, itâs that kind of cheese that gets a little brown in places but is so smooth and delicious! The crust is good and the folks there are always so helpful! Kinda out of the way for us but so worth it!!! Good pizza times with my handsome love!!

My wife and I enjoyed two new dining experiences on Mother's Day weekend. A cool, gray day demanded a hearty meal that Friday night. I had heard about the Italian Garden from a coworker and decided to try it out. Glad we did! Enjoyed the salad, bread and my ravioli while my wife tried their lasagna. Both dishes were great and with lots of great red sauce!

The cheese on this pizza is good but not to write home about. But the cheese bread is delicious. I would go back just to order the cheese bread. Now they have a 30% off on a medium cheese pizza on Sundays.

Mellow Mushroom should be renamed "Mellow and Outstanding Mushroom". The selection of pizzas alone is worth the trip. Very laid back but also very professional. It's a fun experience all around. Lot's of nice beer selections as well as wine and cocktails. Family friendly and priced just right. Servers are friendly, helpful and know the menu very well. Ask for suggestions.Thank you so much, Steven! This is what we love to hear! Hope to see you again at Mellow very soon!

Very reasonable prices for lunch specials. Eggplant parmigiana was very good. Rolls are the bomb! Excellent service. Order was out in very reasonable time.

The pizza was delicious with one of the best crusts Iâve ever had. The lasagna was the perfect balance of sauce and cheese.

Had lunch at Cadilla Pizza after hearing a recommendation from the LYS. My friend and I both ordered the Lunch Special - 9" pizza and half salad. The Sedona salad with chicken and my pizza were delicious. My friend and I both agree we will be going back again. She is not even a pizza fan, but she ate her whole pizza and ordered a Sedona salad to take home. If you are in downtown McKinney you should try it.
