The staff is friendlier than any other Pizzeria that I have ever gone to. Dominic, the owner, is always friendly, courteous and helpful. They make the best Italian food available in our area. The pizzas are cooked to Perfection, the sandwiches are delicious and we still have to look forward to trying the dine-in experience. In the meantime, I can only say that we always look forward to visiting the Leonardo's staff and eating their delicious Italian food.

For exceptional Italian cuisine on Long Island, Verona Ristorante Farmingdale promises food enthusiasts a true Italian dining experience in Farmingdale NY. You'll savor warm flavors of the Italian countryside and you'll experience our warm family service,
I attended a repast luncheon yesterday with about 40 people. The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. Platters of Italian antipasto, shrimp cocktail, clams with linguine and an option of about 6-7 selections for the entree including fish, chicken and veal. I am sure they could easily accommodate vegetarian. A platter of Italian pastries followed with cappuchino and espresso, Irish coffee, herbal tea. The waiters for all the tables were professional and prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited recently with a party of ten on a weekday for an early supper. We arrived ten minutes earlier than our reservation time and had to wait in the foyer while the waiter set our table. Unusual but no big deal. When they were serving our salads I asked for crushed pepper and was given a pepper shaker! Really. One of our guests asked for the same and the same waiter came over with a pepper grinder and took care of it. Again unusual but now kind of annoying. We then waited a very long time for our entrees. This was strange as it was only a party of 10 and it was before the dinner crowd and on a week night. My young niece was so hungry we asked for them to bring her entree before all of the others, which they did. By now we were very frustrated. A good waiter would have brought over some garlic bread or something else and apologized but not our waiter. After dessert we were all set to leave and our waiter was not available. A co-worker brought us the bill and told us he was on the phone. We were not told who he was speaking with but it must have been very important, maybe his recruiter? When he finally showed up I asked if we could use a promotion I had clipped wherein you get a $15 gift card if you spend over $65. Considering we had spent over $400 I thought it would not be a problem. The waiter said no and showed us the fine print on the promotion which excluded price fixe. While some of our meals were price fixe about half of the bill was not which included wine and appetizers. Sorry, but after the poor service we should have been given two gift cards. Anyway we will not be returning to Cara Mia. There are several good Italian restaurants nearby that value repeat customers.

We stopped at Carmellaâs for a couple of slices while killing time in Massapequa. We were not disappointed. We ordered at the counter and ate at one of the outside tables. The white slices were excellent. We were divided on the Neopolitan and Sicilian slices - both were well made but my wife found the sauce slight sweet for her liking. Either way, the crust was excellent. We were especially happy to find that the people at the counter were very pleasant and really make you want to come back. We will do so when in the area again.

Booked a reservation here based on a very strong recommendation from a Long Island friend. I am happy to say he was right on target and our visit here proved to be a wonderful dinner. I love when a restaurant cares about all parts of the meal - starting with the bread basket! Tremendous fresh and tasty artisanal loaf with EVOO and pepper mix. Very strong bar and cocktail libations. Home made Bucatini with Short Rib Ragu ( more meat than sauce!) ending with great desert assortment! Our waiter added to the strength of our visit here. The ONLY Negative is the parking situation here. The lot is far from the front door and those with a hard time walking may find this an unexpected and unpleasant challenge!

Loved this place. Went with another couple and everyone loved their food.At least 10 choices of daily special appetizers. We had shrimp sliders and artichoke oreganata. Both were amazing, as were the entrees(Shrimp Sinatra, Chicken Marsala, Baked Ziti Pulcinella and desserts.Service was great. Restaurant is nicely decorated. We went early(around 5:30) because by 6:30 on weekends, we were told it is noisy and hard to get a table.

We are a family owned and operated business since 1967 and added Saverioâs in 2015! Saverioâs is a taste of Napoli here on Long Island! We serve authentic pizza Napoletana and treat your like family! Come and eat! Vieni a mangiare!
Don't think about it! Just come! Don't leave it bookmarked for too long as I did I truly regret it now hahaha! Street parking but we were able to find parking with no issue. It's located in AS PORK STORE. They have a good amount of tables. Three located in the pizza entrance and the remaining tables in the market. Due to other reviews I expected just two tables but glad to see they have put more in. Great options in the market as well- prosciutto cheese rolls, rice balls and etc. we were tempted to order but decided to do so next time. Service was top notch despite being busy with market patrons. Amazing service and amazing pizza! A business that appreciates their customers! The owner came up to us and introduced herself pointed out her husband and also her daughter who happened to be one of staff taking care of us. We had about three attending to our every need. Now onto the food!So many different types of pizza we couldn't decide. We went with meatball and bufala cheese pie. There's two style of cooking it Italian (softer) and NYC (crisper) we went with the Italian style. Wow the cheese sauce and meatball man sooooooo good! We also ordered two peronis this place offers a few beers and wines which I was not expecting but was excited to see on their menu. We ordered their half order of dough strips that comes with Nutella and marshmallows wow really good too! The half order is perfect for 2-3 people anymore than that I suggest you order a full. I can't wait to come back and try other pizza options!

This is a gem of a little restaurant in a strip mall. It is also a pizza place. The decor is nothing fancy, but the food is fantastic. All are very large portions, enough to take home and have another meal the next day. The wine is a reasonable price too.First trip I had the eggplant parm, excellent and so much food. The second visit I had the grilled salmon. 3 really nice size grilled pieces, cooked just right and so tasty, served with a salad or pasta on a bed of broccoli rabe, also cooked just right. The only critical thing I can say is that there is way too much oil in everything and that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, but of course that makes it taste good. The serve on both visits was good, attentive but not annoying. Will be back!

The only ding I have is that the meals are very rich and heavy. The risotto sides have a lot of cheese. Service was very good. One thing I noticed was that the acoustics were very good - meaning that other table talk throughout the restaurant was not echoing off the walls & drowning out our conversation. Catered very well to my wifeâs dietary issues.
