Had a 7pm reservation that we made at the last minute. We were seated promptly. Service was good and prompt. For starters, we ordered arancini rice balls, mozarella knots with bread. It was all very good. For our main course, I had spaghetti agliolio and my husband had shrimp and calamari. He was very surprised by how large the shrimp was. For dessert, my husband had the fried donut with chocolate sauce. Overall, we had a nice dining experience. The only thing to note is, is that the seats/tables are tight and the noise level is high.
When I coached tennis for Malibu High during the above years, the girls tennis team would have no other pizza in Mabiu. We even had the awards event at the end of the season several times here. The pizza is GREAT and reasonably priced. Decor is a B- but you can take out!!!

First time visitor to the store. Absolutely nothing wrong with the pizza. But no reason to return again. If your life is a string of "good enoughs" then this could be the place for you.

A standby for tasty Italian and a nice variety to choose from. Easy access off Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu just east of the pier. Call ahead to avoid crowds on the weekend for a pickup. Great stuff to take with you to the beach to. Just don't leave your trash on the beach!

This is for the Westlake Village location since Trip Advisor is not up to dateWe were very big fans of Giardino, which occupied this site before Casa Nostra. We hadn't tried Casa Nostra and there are very few choices for high quality Italian restaurants in Ventura County.I was hesitant after reading over the menu three times (once before going) and not finding any dish that was remotely appealing. Most of the offerings were the same old standard Italian restaurant dishes. I started off with the meatball appetizer- little Chef Boyardee meatballs in a tasteless brown sauce that did little to change my initial impression. I then had the osso buco over risotto. Pretty standard veal shank served on top of over done rice drowned in a heavy brown sauce. Very very average. My wife had the beet, Gorgonzola and walnut salad- totally unremarkable. Her papardelle with duck ragu was over cooked and the brown sauce could have been hiding any kind of meat. Mediocre and unappetizing.Deserts were brought in and were ok.Very expensive for the quality of the food. They have three restaurants and this location was packed which surprises me and leads me to believe that McDonald's has shaped an entire generation of palates.

We enjoyed celebrating a wedding anniversary and birthday with a large group of 13. Everyone savored their meals. I particularly enjoyed the eggplant parmesan and the whole branzino. The service was attentive but not overpowering. The wine selected was unavailable and an alternate was suggested at the same price. It was a good suggestion. We ordered another bottle and it was corked. No argument. The waiter smelled the cork and agreed and another fine bottle was produced immediately. The kitchen and wait staff handled service to 13 very well. Everyone received their appetizers at the same time. Same with the main course. In short, we will be back.

We ate out side and it was so pleasant with the lights on all the trees. The service was great and the food excellent. This is a very pricey restaurant but on Mondays all of the food on the menu is 1/2 price including drinks. As such it gets pretty busy by 5:30 PM

We each tried salads, one pear salad & one Chinese chicken salad. Both were good, & good sized portions. They created a sangria not on the menu for my husband. I would come again.

I cannot recommend Tramonto highly enough. We lived on the other end of Malibu until our house burned down in the Woolsey Fire (locally known as the YOYO Fire - You're On Your Own). We have temporarily located ourselves near Tramonto and discovered that it is run by Wilfredo, who brought his crew over from the dearly departed Sage Room. What a delight! As an important aside - Malibu was completely shut off from the world for two weeks after the fire by the gendarmes. Somehow Wilfredo and crew managed to get back in and reopen, long before anyone else - and they fed the suffering locals for free!! That alone should get one to patronize this place. But once you do you will discover another reason - the food is great! The ambience is warm and inviting and the staff is on the case. We have an embarrassment of Italian restaurant riches in Malibu - Gravina, Tra Di Now, and Tramonto. Don't miss this one!!
