Owned and run by two brothers in the village of SantâAntonio di Gallura, this is a restaurant that excels in food, ambiance, and service. With prior reservations, we arrived to a candlelit table with several antipasti dishes already laid out waiting for us. We were allowed to choose the type of pasta we wanted cooked for our entree and were also offered a choice of dessert. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The restaurant is very vegetarian friendly (you better like mushrooms!) and the selection of wines is amazing. Really enjoyed dinner here.

The tenu ta is a beautiful place with an impressive rock formation next to the restaurant. For dinner they serve a complete dinnner including drinks for 37 â¬/p. As usual in the agroturismo's you cannot eat all what they serve . First antipasti : nice meat and vegetable treats. Then 2 first courses and 2 mains then a dessert , fruit coffee and a digestive. We had suckling pug that night, which was cocked in front of us on a charcoal grill. DELICIOUS. The best starter was the ravioli with ricotta. As fresh as it could be.Very nice service, good experience.

Bravi.Maurizio Guccione - Lucca

We drove long distance to get to one of the very few places in Sardegna that offer a vegetarian menu. In fact, the website talks about a vegetarian Thursday, so we made a reservation for Thursday night but we were told that actually they would serve the vegetarian menu on Friday. Ok, we went on a Friday, and expected to eat what was listed in the website menu. First of all, our feeling at the entrance was very strange: it seemed like we ended up in a monastery or similar. The only waitress wouldn't talk to us, neither as a welcoming sign or during the dinner when she was presenting us with the various dishes. The restaurant is poorly furnished and the environment is not pleasant. One of the antipasti (small red peppers) came out of a jar and was made with tuna and anchovies, which is really not vegetarian. Most of the food was based on eggplant combinations, which made it very monotonous. Besides, the dishes didn't have much of a taste, and some were even not edible (burnt). There was plenty of food, but it wasn't pleasurable at all. The online menu announced three first courses, and we only got one. As for dessert, a not even goodlooking pie was served, which reminded me of the most rustic breakfast food. It might be a good place to eat meat, but keep out if you are vegetarian!

We offer specialties from the Mediterranean and Sardinian cuisine, vital foods, pure vegetarian or fine organic meat dishes, created by the offer of the season and our vegetable garden. Our menues always including 3-4 antipasti (appetizers), the Primi Piat
We visited three agriturismos during our holiday, and this was the pick of them.We arrived 10 minutes before the dining time, and were greeted by the owners mother and her very friendly dog, and she insisted on giving us a tour of the garden where we could see all of the vegetables and fruit growing. This is a vegetarian restaurant, but the food was exceptional. Every course was very interesting, and some of the courses are up there with top-end places.Despite the quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable, and the wine and liqueurs were included in the price. The place is a bit off the beaten track, but is well worth the effort. Make sure you book a table in advance though.

Tiny restaurant, seats about 20 and at a fuel station bur don't let that put you off! Food is prepared with gusto, fantastically good and portions are abundant! Pasta was homemade, fish fresh and meat also very good. Not in a turistic area but worth the drive, call and book to be sure.

We were originally going to try and find Ristorante Taverna De Tommy however as another review has said, we couldn't find it either! We followed a sign towards a no through road and did not find anything at the end.Il Girasole on the other hand was well signposted and easy to find. It is a large building and looks very nice from the outside. The space inside however, is quite odd. It is a large circular room with a high ceiling, and the tables are laid across the whole space. In one corner is a bar and across the other side there is a counter for paying and a serving hatch which is open into the kitchen. They seemed to offer takeaway pizza too, from what we could gather. The lighting is very bright, and because the space is so open it unfortunately lends itself to a sort of community-centre-cum-canteen style feel. There are no partition walls or nooks and crannies with soft lighting that could give the place a more intimate feel. There were locals eating in there, including some big parties.I very much enjoyed my salmone pasta dish, however my husband was not so keen on his pizza. It seemed to be a pizza base topped with mozzarella (apparently minimal tomato though) and then it had some rocket salad and prosciutto tossed over the top. I actually thought it looked really nice, however my husband's verdict was that it was like eating cheese on toast with salad on the top. Service was average and the price was pretty reasonable, but I don't think we'd go back owing to the slightly weird atmosphere.

We arrived quite late on a Friday night. This is a local popular place filled with children running around. It was very noisy and decor has from what I remember, fluorescent lighting. Need I say more? I remember ordering something simple, Amatriciana which was very rustic and good. Perfectly al dente. The pizza's looked good. I don't think there is any other restaurant in this lovely town - or at least perhaps we were too late?

The Ciminea Restaurant on the Costa Smeralda offers a cuisine thatâs not just mediterranean but fundamentally Sardinian. As we couldnât imagine you leaving this special place without having tried all the tastes and smells of Sardinia, we have chosen to of
Fabulous hill setting - above a small enclosed valley. The restaurant is on an outdoor terrace. Small, intimate with perfect service. Top-end ambiance: linen, large wine glasses, good local wine list; but this is combined with a warm friendly atmosphere. The food is sumptuous. Meat and seafood both well represented on menu. For two of us the bill came to 140 euros - we had 3 courses each, 2 glasses of white wine, 1 bottle of red towards top of range (33 euros) and two heavenly grappas (slightly pink in colour - couldn't catch what it was - he said 'barrique' when I questioned him: I just asked for their best ones and barrique must just mean it was barrel aged). For that class of meal, 140 seems very reasonable. We have booked a return visit!
