Delicious bagles, huge portions, good coffee and wide soft drink selection. We had a wonderful breakfast and will definetly come here again when we return to Lublin.

Insomnia Restaurant is more than just a stop for a quick meal. That's the magic. Magic owners. The magic of flavors, aromas, delicious teas, hot kaw..mojej favorite hot czekoloday with a hint of chili. My first visit to the Insomnia, when I tried Caesar salad was one of many visits, each successful, every tasty. Delicious pastes, salads, pies St. Luke make you never wonder when choosing a place when I want to take friends for a good feast. And the chocolate cake! Best!

Location was suggested by friends. The whole place was very busy (weekend evening), however the service, drinks and food were quick. Personally I would like a little more cocktail choice but what I had was good. Very Italian themed drinks menu. Food was great.Only downside was it was very warm inside.Will visit again.

The place is decent. Lots to choose from on the menu, which is also in English. Reasonable prices. The service varies. The guys there seem to be more friendly than the girls. Not sure why waitresses in Lublin are so grumpy. But, if you can get around the moods, you will enjoy this place. Kinda cozy.

Arte del Gusto is a top-quality Italian restaurant and pizzeria in central Lublin. The pizzas are thin crust and crackly, made in a real wood-fired oven (but with lower-quality domestic cheese, not imported Italian cheese). The pastas are made with fresh-made noodles. The food really is superb -- for the price. The decor however is heavy-handed and over-done. Stuffy table settings don't even leave room for four settings at a table, so instead they have awkwardly squeezed in three. The owners should lighten up a bit. English is spoken but not well. But overall, you can't do better for authentic Italian food in Lublin. Recommended.

Restaurant is strange at the entrance as nobody greets you and you dont know where to go. However when you finally find a waiter, the food is very good in reasonable price. I had a swordfish and it was very well cooked. Very good service.

Small, unassuming place, but wow - absolutely amazing pizzas. There's one guy in the kitchen doing the whole rolling, throwing and spinning thing on his own. It's not for show - he's not looking around to see who's watching or checking himself in the mirror - just getting on with the job of making perfect thin-crust pizzas one after another.Great range of choice too - meat, veg and fish. All 30cm in size. Service friendly and efficient. 3 of us ate for under 80zl. Tasty and impressive!

Some people in Lublin seem to adore this place. Anytime you mention pizza there is somebody that advices you to go there, as a great tip and best kept secret. "This is a hiden gem, the best pizza in Lublin, in Poland, in the world!". Wow! The best pizza? Of course, that was something that we had to see for ourselves, so there we went.We had already been warned that this pizza place was a bit weird, it is located in a quite neighborhood in Southern Lublin. It looks like a regular house, only there is a paper over the door bearing the Italian flag that says Pizzeria. Not so easy to find in the evening, but ok in daylight. The road has not been seal yet, that is how far from Downtown it is! Nevertheless, we have already had memorable meals in stranger places and this just adds to the fun, it was like going to a secret place.Decoration is non existent, simple tables and chairs, but at least you get to see the pizzaiolo in action since the oven faces the main room.The menu is long but simple: there are pizzas, pizzas and pizzas. Some calzone, also several pizzas without sauce, others without cheese. No antipasti, no pasta, no meat, no fish, just pizza and some (expensive) desserts. Their menus reminded me a little bit those of many pizza places in Italy, where they cater for every taste (and food allergies), as far as it is pizza.Our first visit staff was not super friendly, on the contrary. The waitress seemed annoyed by our lack of mastery of Polish language and she was far from helpful or at least understanding. Needless to say, nobody there speaks English and the menu is in Polish (except for the name of their dishes). We ordered two big pizzas, Diavola and Prosciutto Crudo plus drinks. The service was not the fastest in town but the restaurant was full and took them 30 minutes to bring our pizzas, which is reasonable.There we were, with our may-be-best-pizza-ever. Saying it was a disappointment would be an understatement. It was just a rather vulgar, not so tasty, but very thin pizza.I do understand that their pizzaiolo knows his dough, he is indeed able of making probably the thinest pizza in town. But pizzas are much more than a thin dough (who said pizza dough must be super thin? it doesn't!). Pizzas are about a mixture of ingredients that create a perfect taste together. You need not only a great dough, but also tasty tomatoes, melting mozzarella and the right ingredients on top of it: may this be cold cuts, vegetables, fish or just herbs, pizzas are all about a great taste as an ensemble. And these pizzas, thin as they were, were not tasty. Was it the lack of herbs? The so-so ingredients? I can not say for sure, but our pizzas were simply not good.We decided to come back and give Il Rifugio a second chance a year later. After all, we kept hearing how great the pizzas were and we thought we might have had bad luck with our choices.Our second visit the staff was nicer. We had the same waitress as the previous time and she was much nicer (so were our Polish declinations). It took them around 20 minutes to prepare our pizzas, so no complains there.This time we had pizza alla carbonara and Texan pizza. I think that subconsciously we were hoping that adding lots of ingredients would make the pizzas taste like something. Unfortunately, we can not say our second try was better than the first. We still think that, while those pizzas are super thin, so is their taste.I expect much more from a pizza. I will not come back and I can not recommend it either: Il Rifugio has served me two of the most boring, uninteresting pizzas I have ever tasted. Needless to say, there are other restaurants that make better pizzas in town.If, still, you decide to give it try, take cash with you because credit cards are not accepted.

After visiting Poland and being in Lublin for some time I had heard good things about Dziki Wschód. I stopped in there to find out that all the good things I had been hearing were true- great beer selection with some local/craft beers which were all awesome.
