A nice stop back from the Mediterranean. We were looking for a good pizza, and this place delivered. Situated in a ski village that doesn't appear to offer too many summer activities as most hotels/apartments appeared relatively empty despite quite a few cars parked.Notably, you can eat here off meal hours, unlike many other places being closed.Service was nice and effective. Prices very reasonable.

We went there with our three small kids and felt completelt at ease. Food came quickly and was really tasty. Classic italian feed but also some regionsl specialities. Friendly staff, good price.

As far as unpretentious eating goes this was the best combination of simplicity, taste and value. Go early to get a table for dinner as the restaurant is full 10 minutes after the opening. Most diners were families with kids. The stuff is friendly and attentive. We had various pizzas and gnocchi. The four cheese pizza was named the winner (as voted by everyone in our group)

Chalet le Marmotte is a typical mountain chalet situated at 1800 metres above sea level on the Italian/French border (see map or google earth - Colle di Tenda pass). The strategic position of the Chalet allows you to appreciate the peace and quiet of the
Relaxing in the sunshine overlooking the mountains enjoying a nice lunch! Thank you for the nice welcome.

During our stay in Limone we visited Maito twice. So it was very good. First time we had Fondue with an excellent beef and the second time we had different Pizza. Everyone was satisfied and we found this place being a real Italian experience. It´s a small restaurant so you must book a table.

The place is small and gets filled quickly. We went there for dinner. The restaurant hours are 8pm-10pm, basically each table gets just one party. Chances are - if you haven't booked in advance you won't get in. We went for the "traditional menu" which included a few veal variations, polenta and homemade pasta. Everything was delicious. There was some fantastic sauce, something like hummus with anchovies which I am definitely going to try to recreate at home. It all came with the biggest bread basket you can imagine. And - there's a very impressive wine list. There was a page+ of Barolo! The menu was â¬37 pp, plus wine. I am giving it 4 stars only because I'd prefer to see more variety on the set menu, not just veal cooked a few different ways. Delicious though!

Were immediately told: âWe make traditional Mountain food from Piemonteâ; and that was truly the case. The only thing that needs to be added is that they do it well, in great atmosphere and with an excellent wine selection. We went for lunch and for dinner. Absolutely worth a visit or two. Book table!

Ate here with friends after reading the reviews. Beautiful little restaurant, very Italian, great decor, warm and welcoming. Authentic Italian food and great local wine . Just sit back and let the waiters take care of you while you indulge in gorgeous hams and homemade pasta Itâs a little pricier than other restaurants in the village but you get what you pay for.
