Pizza very tasty. Had to get a steak, but we like it with everything (lettuce, tomato, etc.) didn't realize that was what was meant by "hoagie," but we're from Maryland where they are subs. Anyway really delicious. Agree that it's odd to pay when you leave, but very good meal.

Went to Giovanni's for a 50th birthday celebration. I had been there for pizza before, but never dinner. I ordered the seafood cannelloni. It was quite good. The seafood sauce they put over the past was delicious. For me the drawback was that all I could taste was the sauce. The cannelloni got lost in the gravy. I would have preferred much less of the sauce so I could taste both the gravy and the cannelloni. The salad that came with the meal was the best side salad I have had in a while. Giovanni's is definitely worth checking out.

We had call ahead reservations, only had to wait about 15 minutes on a Saturday night at 6:30, and the pizza was delicious. We'll have to go back and try some other options. The menu looked great.

They must do something right, but it's not cheese steaks or maybe my standard are too high (Sylvia's in Hatboro). Usually when I visit a pizza, steaks and hoagie place, I'll order a cheese steak figuring if it's good, I'll return.Well the first time, I was impressed when it arrived, it was huge, but after a second look I noticed how finely the meat had been chopped. This could be a clue as to the quality of the meat they use. I took a bite and it was just as I remembered, kind of blah. The onion was finely chopped and sparse as to be unnoticeable and they skimped on the cheese so that most of the sandwich was very dry.Normally the first visit would have been my last, but a group of guys in our development have a lunch once a month with someone selecting the venue. I should have chosen something else, but I thought the cheese steak couldn't really be that bad. It was.No matter what you choose to order, our staff is incredibly passionate about always showcasing authentic and perfectly prepared dishes. From the cheese steaks to the pizzas and beyond -- everyone here knows how important it is to uphold the high standards in cooking that we hold ourselves to, and we're sorry to know that you weren't left with this same impression. We'll be sure to touch on your concerns right away, and here is truly hoping that we have the chance to welcome you back for the perfect meal that we're all about.Sincerely,Matt, Steve, and Jon Moccia

Penny's Pizza offers:Pizza, Bolies, Calzones, Lasagana, Side dishes. Penny's has been in business since 1970 and has been listed in the Philadelphia Magazine as top pizza places. Our sweet sauce and cornmeal crust is a local favorite.
Been a customer since they opened on or about 1967. Can't beat their Stromboli. Everyone makes good pizza. Penny's makes great pizza. Sauce is sweet. Cheese is not the traditional stringy stuff. Crust is like no other. The place was closed for a few years by original owners and then reopened. I visited on reopening to find the parking lot full and cars stacked on to sides of the road for hundred of feet. That just doesn't happen unless you are good!!!

I've been dinning on the thursday all-u-can eat night mussels for many years and they are great! I believe the price is $17.95 which include a nice salad and bread. I prefer the garlic & parm sauce served over a medium portion of linguinni. They also offer fra-diablo red sauce and can adjust the heat to suit you. The peppers & oil are not free anymore ($2?) and they are mostly hot, although you may get a sweet one once in a while. Janice is the most sweetest attentive waitress and I always ask for her. I usually do 1 extra bowl of mussels which is not served w/linguinni after the initial 1st serving. I absolutely love the garlic parm sauce,,,very rich and hearty. My tip, save the initial bowl of sauce when the 2nd order comes out and just have janice dump the new mussels into your bowl.

Many years ago we tried Bravo pizza and thought it was good.... but not all that. These days, through these new owners.... Sal and family turn out a better pizza and it is definitely way better than it ever was. Perhaps the ovens are finally seasoned... or the dough is finally developed or the sauce has finally been tinkered with enough.... but these guys are turning out a good pizza. Their other foods are equally delicious and their sandwiches are pretty darn good too. All in all they put out a decent product and one that I think youâll enjoy. Try their pizza and see for yourself. Itâs a hidden little gem!

Stopped in with my mother and 2 sisters on a girls weekend get away. The service was excellent! The food was delicous!!! We ordered a pizza and desserts to share. The server recommended the Maple Bourbon Walnut Ice Cream which was to die for! The prices were beyond reasonable. It is a BYOB establishment which is pretty cool. Had I known I may have brought wine but we were overly satisfied with what we had! Highly recommend!

We had tried to get into this resto once but there was an hour wait. I donât wait an hour for any resto. This time we arrived at five and there was no wait. Service was fine. We were given two heavy and dense garlic rolls drenched in lots of oil. I had the eggplant Parmesan which was awful. This was basically a humongous dish of razor thin sliced eggplant covered in a very thick fried coating. The eggplant was invisible and evidently disintegrated into the coating because I could not taste it at all. Even a side view of a cut piece revealed mostly thick coating. This heap of coating was drowned in an undistinguished tomato sauce and accompanied by a pile of over cooked pasta. My daughter otoh had three stuffed shells which was dwarfed by my gargantuan dish. Nothing we ordered was good. Both were $17 and not worth the price. We will not be returning.

Great deli with exceptional hoagies of all types and styles. Rolls are the best... and much better than any Philly location. Great for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff with great pride in what they do. Always a favorite place to eat or take out. Give it a try ~ you will not be sorry and definitely will be a returning customer just like us.
