Foster Supply Hospitality is proud to welcome Chef Baco and Piccolo Paese into the family. To friends old and new, we look forward to having you dine with us soon. After thoughtful renovations, Piccolo Paese reopens on April 11th, serving dinner 6 nights
Wow, someone who lives nearby took us here for dinner. Service was terrible. Main course took forever to serve. Drinks were flat -- no fizz, even in the coke. Food was nothing special. When we asked for check, they said they're backed up in preparing checks and we'd have to wait. We were almost going to just leave an approximate amount of cash on the table and leave.

We were going to another place to eat supper but they were closed so we drove to Liberty. Saw Paesano's and decided to give it a try. We will be back when we're in the area again. The portion size was huge and the price was fantastic. There were 5 of us and I think we could have all eaten off the large Stromboli (but we didn't know it was that big! and was only $13.) My sister and her boyfriend ordered a large one to split along with a salad. They ate until they couldn't eat any more and had plenty left for the next night for supper. I ordered the lasagna and my boyfriend ordered a medium Stromboli ($7.50). We also ended up with enough for supper the following night! The smartest one of all of us was the cousin that just ordered a slice of pizza and a side salad! The food was very good! I also got a piece of the ziti pizza......okay but ziti doesn't belong on a pizza crust!

We stopped here on Sunday on the way back from dropping the kids off at sleep away camp. We ordered calzones (actually, I first ordered an eggplant parm hero, but they had no eggplant). I had the spinach and cheese calzone, and my husband the sausage and peppers and onions. It took a while, because they were freshly made. They were large and really good. The accompanying tomato sauce was much better than I expected. Overall, a really pleasant surprise. (Very casual atmosphere, more like a bar than a restaurant, fyi.)
