Nestled in a quiet shopping center in Lauderhill is a treasure. Since 1993, Fra Diavolo Ristorante Italiano has been serving legendary Italian dishes in a very comfortable & cozy atmosphere to create an exquisite fine Italian dining experience.
Traveled quite a distance to try this restaurant which was highly recommended. Huge disappointment. Aesthetically the restaurant is old, worn out and shabby looking. The food was poor to mediocre across-the-board. Tasteless orangey artificially colored supposed garlic bread. Highlight of the meal was the unique bruschetta comprised of diced celery, fennel, peppers, onions, kidney beans, chickpeas, onions & fresh Italian parsley in a vinaigrette marinade. Sad that it had to go on tasteless orange âgarlic bread â. The salad was a flat plate with some sparse cut iceberg lettuce, two token pieces of spinach, one sad slice of tomato. The waiter never brought the oil and vinegar that I had requested. Rather than bother him I used the creamy Italian house dressing on the table. It was tasteless. Shrimp Parmesan was made of frozen breaded butterfly shrimp with a small blob of cheese on each piece and a bitter tinny tasting tomato sauce. The accompanying pasta was a solid mass in the dish with some of the same bitter tasting tomato sauce on top. The waiter never brought my husbands pasta and had to be reminded twice. He ordered fried seafood which came with slices of breaded and fried zucchini!? #Fillerâï¸ Clams and white clam sauce over pasta had no sauce. The clams were set on top of tasteless pasta with only the watery liquid from having steamed with clams. No garlic no parsley no taste. Huge disappointment. Whoever eats in this restaurant has no idea of what good Italian food should taste like. If it tastes like your motherâs cooking...sorry but she was a terrible cook!

The food here is usually excellent, but for no known reason it was problematic on this visit. One dish was very over salted, to the point of being inedible. The staff, however, were very good about this. They agreed that this had happened (I HATE restaurants where they deny obvious problems) and they substituted one item. They also provided a free dessert because it was my birthday. I would be surprised if this problem recurs any time soon. Still, it is a disappointment when a restaurant that has always been excellent serves food that is below any reasonable standard..

For lunch I got a small pizza with my choice of four toppings, at an extra buck per topping. This entrée was part of the week day lunch specials, so the price was quite reasonable. The pizza was very tasty and was enough to fill me up. And it came with a small salad. Service was very good. The place did get busy. And noisy.

A modern setting with tables and booths separated by etched glass depicting Italian scenes. Our server was prompt and polite. A shopping center location but a homey feeling. Food came out hot a well seasoned. A bottle of wine was nicely priced and we enjoyed our meal.

Goodfellas Pizza is a gourmet pizzeria with hand made New York style pies that will have you coming back. We'll make you a pie you can't refuse!
The pizza is good. They are a little slow but the pizza is worth the wait. No delivery service, it's done thru Uber Eats, so sometimes delivery is quick and sometimes it's not.

Of course Olive Garden is a chain, however many of the restaurants are laid out differently, and have different decorations. This particular location is nicely decorated, the interior layout is a bit squeezed, but functional. Standard Olive Garden menu, and the quality of food was good as expected, the host and waiter staff were very attenuative and checked in often to make sure that we were happy. We were staying at one of the hotels about a block or two away, awaiting to leave on a cruise, and decided to have dinner the night before. As we chatted with the waiter, and he found out we were staying at the hotel, he made sure that we had to go boxes, plastic utensils and drink cups to take our left overs back to the hotel. Overall a very good experience and would recommend this location to any of the cruisers that are staying at one of the nearby hotels, good quality food for decent price, and good sized portions.

We found this restaurant through a TripAdvisor search and were not disappointed. It's a cozy restaurant with a pleasant decor. The food was very good and the service great. Tara is a Super Server! We ordered the Veal Scaloppine Ala Francaise and the Chicken Marsala and were pleased with the amount and the taste. For dessert we ordered Di Valentini, a spumoni dipped in dark chocolate. My mouth waters just thinking about it! Prices were very reasonable for the amount and quality of food.

BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a "polished casual" restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, "Tuscan Grille" is descriptive for a menu that features oven-roasted steaks, chops, and seafood; similar to what one wou
We flew down to celebrate motherâs day with my 90 year old mother in law. The restaurant had easy access for her and we were seated quickly.Service and food quality was excellent. My wifeâs carpaccio was the best ever. My mother in law loved her lamb chops. All in all, we all had a great dinner.

We went to try Anthony's Coal Fire Pizza in Plantation for the first time this past weekend. Since we had a large party of 9 people, we called ahead to make a reservation. When we arrived, the hostess very accommodating. I especially liked that they sat us in the back of the restaurant at a large round table. It was a nice way to communicate with all of the people that attended this dinner. Additionally, the service was outstanding and the food was very fresh. It did cost a little more than $80 for 2 large cheese and 2 pepperoni pizzas (not including tip). I also wish that we could have ordered "pitchers" of soda or lemonade for the table, but according to our waiter, this option does not exist on the menu. Single drinks only. Darn. A little loud too.
