Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Laredo. Located on the border between Mexico and the U.S., on U.S. I-35 and Mexican Federal Highway 85, Laredo is America's largest inland port and one of the oldest border crossing points. The restaurant is LA ROCA not La Rocha. I have been going there for a long time and I enjoy the food and the service. Good parking spaces, good music, and good bar drinks. It's a good place to have meetings and to host get-together's and birthdays. A friend of mine and myself go there every Sunday because the lunch crowd is not noisy and we enjoy 1-2 hours of good family talking and eating.

We specialize in fresh house made pasta, sauces, and pizza. We bake our own bread. we have an extensive Italian wine and beer selection and also serve some signature cocktails. Trattoria Mia prides itself in being very family and kid friendly.
I like coming to this restaurant, their food and service is very good. I love their pizza- freshly made. My favorite there is linguine vongole. I definitely will recommend this place.

Stopped in Sunday for an early lunch and was NOT disappointed. Sat at the bar, bartender(whose name I forgot..Sorry!) was efficient, courteous and knowledgeable about the menu... My app arrived very quickly, was perfectly prepared... Just as I finished my app, my entree appeared... It was a huge portion... My drink was never empty... I talked with the manager, a very friendly woman, very appreciative of my comments..and I was out... I will definitely return

Interesting menu with lots of choices. Order at the counter, self-serve drinks, find a table and wait for a delicious pizza to come. They offer wings, salads, calzones, pasta, sandwiches and starters such as fried pickle spears, fried cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers and onion rings for those who care. I would have appreciated a more comfortable chair however.

I love Pizza, but i did not like this place. If you think little ceasars or pizza hut is great pizza then this is definitely the place for you. The pizza was bland, didn't like the cheese and honestly it just tasted and felt like a low budget pizza. If you're a true pizza lover that has been to notable pizza joints across the country, then this is not the place for you.
