The Cornerhouse offers a fantastic range of home cooked food and a great range of 20 keg and 8 cask beers, as well as a bespoke cocktail menu. We have acoustic sets from local artists Thursday through to Sunday, as well as DJs and bands on the weekends.
We were looking for the Sun Inn but found this, could not have been happier.Had cocktials, wine and more cocktails! Good prices, very friendly , warm, helpful staff. Had 3 tapas dishes all good. These were followed by live music whuch was great.Only niggle is the toilets up a long flight of stairs and the quality was bad, toilet seats missing, smelly definitely needs looking at.

At Casa Rastelli, you'll find a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment where you can enjoy freshly-ground coffee and a cake with friends, an array of lunch options including gluten free, a great selection of Ice Cream Sundaes, Freakshakes and Milkshake
Needed a sugar fix and this was just what was needed. Also had a slice of chocolate fudge cake for good measure. Prices were reasonable and the service fast and friendly even though it was near closing time. Definitely visit again even if not needing the sugar fix

Very welcoming atmosphere, great service, our waiter didn't stop smiling all night.6 of us dining and all food delivered at the same time, piping hot and absolutely delicious.Great menu, lots of choice but not so many that you get swamped deciding...a common problem for me! I was even tempted by the vegan options . Can't wait for a return visit.

Buccelli's is run by Bruno who orginates from Rome. All the food, drink and surroundings are influenced by Bruno's Italian heritage and traditions. Buccelli's is a combination of Italian cafe, Bistro and Delicatessen. It also is licensed to serve alcohol.
Having heard reports of authenticity I ignored the usual Happy Hour haunts and gave this a try .... No bread at the table .... Starter of olives was just that ... A bowl of olives ... The mains, which incidentally leap up in price in an evening , were served in small soup dishes... A lack lustre thin sauce over gnocchi.... Mmmmm .... We remained the only customers for the duration of the meal .... It might be a nice lunch venue as reviews imply but this restaurant needs to beef up its act if it wants to lure customers feasting on pretty decent Happy Hour menus on every corner ....Dear Venicemad,We are very sorry to hear about it.But just to be clear Buccelli's is an Osteria and NOT a Restaurant (which I very well described from outside to inside.Definition of Osteria:An osteria (Italian pronunciation: [osteËria], plural osterie) in Italy was originally a place serving wine and simple food. Lately, the emphasis has shifted to the food, but menus tend to be short, with the emphasis on local specialities such as pasta dishes.I suggest next time to speak to the staff if you have any doubts... Con amore Bruno

We recently visited here looking for a really great pizza after a disaster of a meal at a local Italian and Iâm so glad we did. The whole experience was wonderful - friendly service, really clean environment and pizzas to die for! Thereâs plenty of different varieties and they arenât afraid to stray away from the usual âmeat feastâ or âham and pineappleâ that you find elsewhere. We will definitely be returning and also using the takeaway option too. Dare I say the best pizzas in Lancaster?

I was recommended this place by a friend last week so thought we would give it a go. Phoned up around 9.15pm Fri night the man on the phone was very pleasant. We ordered a 14" seafood pizza stuffed mushrooms and garlic potatoes. The food arrived around 10pm by what I presumed to be the same polite man. The food was piping hot aswell. The pizza was the best I've ever ordered in Lancaster and the garlic potatoes were really tasty. I don't think I will be ordering pizza from anywhere else in the future. Definitely recommend this place, just can't believe I didn't know about it sooner. Thanks again for great food and great service. We will be back.

Was looking for somewhere to eat after visiting castle. Decided hete as it looked a nice size. Not too big. Service was very friendly. Happy to make recommendations or just leave you to it. I had a sardines starter. Wow. Taste sensation. Beautiful. I then had a calzone. Also very good. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her food also. Never been here before but will definitely be back!

My husband and I visited Lancaster on Friday and visited here for lunch. The food was excellent and the service was second to none. We had Josh serving us and what a lovely helpful and friendly young man he is. Iâd definitely go back and recommend you dine here.

Fabulous Italian food. The pizzas are second to none! The pasta is also excellent. The chicken liver starter (Fegato) is awesome and the vegetarian Pizza (with added pepperoni, as I am not vegetarian) is brilliant. Very reasonably priced if you get there for happy hour, which is longer than an hour! But still a good price even if you pay full menu price

I waited 38 minutes from ordering to receive my pleasant but forgettable pizza. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant. Nicely decorated and staff polite enough. Just unbelievably slow. Definitely not worth coming in if youâre on a lunch break (an hour) if you need to get back on time.
