This lovely trattoria on the main road is friendly and homely. The service was smiling and the food home cooked. All the tables were full of locals all enjoying different real Italian food. Lovely wines, soups, pastas and other dishes. No problems for vegetarians whatsoever.

We were a bit skeptical, but after having sat down we changed our mind...good food, service was great and portions were very abundant. Our four legged companion (middle size dog) was also welcome...giving us an extra smile. Not too expensive so good if you are on a budget.Recomended.

Went to this amazing restaurant with my friend Fabrizio one cold night in Feb this year, having been staying in Courmayeur for weeks working as a ski instructor and eating basic hotel food.Cafe Quinson was a gastronomical delight! There are only 5 tables in the whole restaurant as each is so spaced out, you have intimacy & privacy but there is still the ambiance of a luxurious restaurant. The food was exquisite and the local wine seriously good! After dinner the owners showed us into their new 'state of the art' kitchen, I have never seen anything like it ever!Highly recommend a visit to this fabulous place and I can't wait to return. Petite fours were given to us in a commemorative tin on our departure.

This unassuming restaurant was a surprise to us when we visited La Salle which is a small town a few kilometers away from Mont Blanc. Apart from having a blend of modern and traditional and modern style which blends nicely the restaurant offers a varied a la cart menu and a range of pizzas. The risotto agli asparagi is to die for. It has and excellent creaminess and a nice subtle sweet taste of asparagus, pizzas are also excellent and other pasta and meat dishes. The service is very good efficient and warm. Typically Italian.

The Green Park Restaurant serves grilled meat, seafood, local specialties, local wines as the Blanc of Morgex, the Enfer of Arvier and Torrette. Here you can taste the flavors and aromas of the Aosta Valley reinterpreted in a tasty and original way.
Only started visiting this restaurant recently and regret not having gone before as good value for a tasty meal. Wide ranging menu (pasta, pizza, meat) but does not detract from the quality. Good value for money. Haven't tried the desserts which don't look like their strong point. Friendly, efficient service.

I had lunch and dinner many times at the Trattoria Cheverel (last time was January 2016) and is always a great experience. In the past 15 years the menu didn't change much (possibly not at all) but I think it's what I like the most: whenever I go I fund the same, great, traditional taste I had many years before.

My family and I have been coming to this family owned restaurant for a number of years and have always been impressed by the food and service. The menu is made up mainly of Aostian specialities and some northern Italian dishes. The food is tasty and well executed and very reasonably priced. I would recommend the "sformata de toma", pasta with porcini, gnocchi with blue cheese and risotto. The wine list is short but well priced and very representative of the region. Service is always friendly, discrete and efficient. The views of the surrounding mountains are fantastic. As we have a house nearby, we have not stayed at the hotel, but we always make sure to come here to eat when we are in the neighbourhood.

We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant and were delighted to find such a gem a few steps from home. We tried the appetizers, the "primi" and the dessert and everything was amazing, both in taste and presentation. Service was excellent and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Our first week time in Val d'Aosta was beatifully supported by this B&B + restaurant! In fact we were very sad leaving Planaval and at the same time sure we shall be back and save a great memory of them. In order the most interesting points:- Service: the all staff is young and smart. Always smiling and comunicative also during peak time. Never stressed.- Food: simply great! Huge portions for the half board, properly introduced by the waiter (bravo Sergio!) and setted up. The chef is invisible: always busy in the kitchen: thanks for the Stinco and Risotto ai frutti di bosco!- Rooms: clean and beautifully designed using old original wooden elements and more recent ones. Stone is smartly used to get a perfect touch to interiors.- Environment: it's true it's a bit far away from La Salle but sometimes it's exactly what you like. The valley offers single tracks up to 2300 mslm starting from the hotel, you can trek or bike (Scott mtb available!).It was simply a dream! Eventually thanks to Ms Monica and the other we did not manage to personally thanks when we left early! Enjoy!
