We visited as a large group of 12 adults and two children on Sat 18th August the last night of our ten night holiday in Tenerife. On arrival outside we were a little apprehensive as it really doesnât look very appealing from outside. As we had booked we decided to ârisk itâ. Boy were we glad we did. Excellent, tasty food that was freshly prepared in a kitchen we could see. The whole meal was very reasonably priced too, 14 of us ate, I think at least half of us had a starter and most had a dessert or coffee as well as mains, and wine and soft drinks and the bill was only â¬169... great value for money. I myself had a dish Iâd never tried before called âtortellini Peraâ which was a pasta dish with pear and Parmesan and walnuts and it was delicious! We all thoroughly enjoyed our last night meal and will definitely go back if we ever visit Tenerife again Muchisimas gracias por su valoracion y sobre todo por su comentario. Sin duda somos conscientes de tener que mejorar nuestra iluminacion exterior.Esperamos verles muy pronto en Tenerife y por su puesto en nuestro establecimiento.Saludos

If you are searching for pizza or pasta this is the placeOwner is italian do adding some "knowledge " to the food. For us was super good. Fully recommended.Tip: as the other traveler wrote don't look for interior. Take the outside table and order

We had our new years dinner there and the service and quality of food was very good. I had the filet with mushrooms and enjoyed it a lot. My wife had the fish lasagna and felt it was the best she had so far.For desert we chose pana cotta and it was delicious, the traditional coffee barraquito is served in a fancy cocktail glass :-)

Friendly staff, baby seats, but the food mediocre. We were hoping to find some good pasta with home made sauces and we were disappointed in this regard.

Must have walked past this restaurant hundreds of times and didn't give it a second thought. My wife and I both enjoy pasta though and checked out TripAdvisor which highlighted Baricentro.Sometimes you read comments like ' this was some of the best pasta I've ever eaten' and you think, some correspondents 'need to get out more', however, on this occasion they could very well be right!Spotlessly clean, well appointed with interesting Italian artefacts and friendly staff,, so far we were impressed.Two glasses of the very good house rosado helped set the scene whilst we perused and ordered from the well chosen selection of dishes on the menu.Sharing a starter of bruschetta, it was at this point we agreed we had made a good restaurant choice. The bread was lightly toasted and the garlicky tomato topping was seasoned perfectly and drizzled with a nice 'peppery' olive oil - absolutely delicious. Next we both had spaghetti dishes, my wife the pesto and the 'scampi' for me. Both dishes were cooked to absolute perfection, with al dente spaghetti and for my dish, well cooked and succulent prawns in a garlic and chillie oil - historic.To complement the food we selected a bottle of verdicchio, which I must say was reasonably priced and of good quality.Although both of us were 'stuffed full' at this point, we reasoned that since the first two courses were superb, for completeness, we simply had to try the tiramisu.Quite honestly, this was 'up there' with best tiramisu either of us had ever eaten - and being from Scotland we both enjoy our puddings.So there you have it, Baricentro, what a find. So good we went back another twice during our two weeks in Puerto. Thanks for some great meals.
