After a few too many rose wines we were famished. In England you would find a kebab shop yet in France you find a cabin on the side of the street. The pizza served here was really good. Nice thin crispy base and delicious toppings.Staff were full of banter and happy to serve us.Reasonably priced.Great food

Excellent little place if you want to have a French/Mediterranean bistro experience. We had a great night in le Pointu from the top nocht service, to the environment and decor which are amazing. Whether you're eating inside, where the atmosphere and decoration are just fantastic, or outside facing the beautiful Mediterranean sea you'll find what you're looking for.The cuisine, which is delicious has a simple and tasteful twist which makes the experience amazingly enjoyable. The staff from the chef, to the waiters are incredibly nice and making sure that you have a delightful meal.If you're around and looking for a simple yet pleasing dish just pop in and you won't be disappointed.

De passage dans le coin, nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard à Pause nature et ne l'avons pas regretté ! Les pizzas sont excellentes, fournies et originales. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation ! On recommande !

The restaurant has been recently opened, unfortunately not very easy to find therefore it took us few months before we realized it was there, just nearby our house! It specializes in fish and seafood and adds interesting twist to their preparation. The number of dishes is limited but that is a very good sign for quality and freshness. We started with very nicely done and presented seafood version of pasta all'amatriciana with shrimps. Afterwrdas we continued with scallops on pumpkin puree and ombrine fillet. Both well prepared, balanced in taste with great presentation, with scallops being a true marvel. Short list of desserts with very rich chocolate ganache and fantastic mini tarte tatin. All this in very Italian ambiance of nearly private dining in simply but well decorated interior and very nice service of the owner (the husband is the chef). Good wine list, with several Italian wines (not so common in Cote d'Azur). Certainly an interesting place, worth more visits to check the creativity of the chef.

French pizza championships back to 2005.
I have great childhood memories of eating pizza fresh from the oven of a roadside van in Provence so couldn't pass up the offering from pizza de l'Ara in Vence. We were not disappointed. Wonderful fresh ingredients, generous toppings and any combination you could wish for catering for both children and adult tastes. The large pizzas were indeed large and the leftovers reheated beautifully for childrens' lunch the following day. We'll be back.

We visited this small restaurant on the penultimate night of our relaxing holiday in La Colle Sur Loupe. We should have visited it sooner as we most certainly would have eaten there again! Pleasant staff , great Pizzas and Steak and good value too. Worth a visit .

restaurant open from 10am to 10pm 20 seats inside and 12 seats outside . non-stop kitchen everything is elaborated by fresh products friendly place where you can spend a lovely time A tasty cooking with pleasant flavors
You'd never guess how good the food and how competent the service is by simply looking at this place. It's tiny and needs a little TLC, but it passed last month's government hygiene inspection with flying colors as the dedicated website indicates. There are 2 kitchens and 2 chefs here : upstairs is the pizza oven and kitchen where the local specialties like stuffed vegetables, fresh homemade pasta and takeaway food are prepared and downstairs is where the owner's wife prepares her native Thai dishes. Yes, there's an actual Thai woman in a medieval village in Southern France! A welcome change from the bland stuff most other places serve if you ask me. If you go downstairs, which you will have to if you need the bathroom, watch your head as the ceiling is very low in the staircase. If the chef is there, which she usually is, you can talk English to her, she doesn't speak French anyway :-) Local dishes are prepared with love, attention to detail, but first and foremost with competence by a former cooking instructor. They're worlds apart from what you can get in most places in the old town of Nice. Not sure one of those stodgy chard tarts is something you'd like for dessert? Try the one they make here, with rum-marinated raisins and enough pine nuts to make you wonder if they get them for free (they cost $20 per lb here). The wine is average, but they have beer, both draft and bottled. The place is open from 10 am to 10 pm (at least). Continously.

Now the summer season has ended, lots of restaurants are offering special offers and tempting menusThis place is nice enough The staff were a little abrupt and borderline rude but that could be seen as normal in FranceThe food was tasty, really well priced too.My gluten free pal was impressed and therefore we all left happy Thank you very Much for your advice on tripadvisor.
