Reviews on Italian food in Kuwait City, Kuwait. The economic, cultural, and political capital of Kuwait, Kuwait City sits on the shores of the Persian Gulf, and is a mixture of exclusive Western-style hotels, designer shopping malls, traditional Islamic architecture, street markets, and still war torn buildings. The painted steel Kuwait Towers are the symbol of the city, and feature a viewing platform and restaurant looking out over Kuwait. Visit the Sadu House to learn about Bedouin culture and shop for handmade crafts and fabrics.

I had a vegetarian Focaccia for lunch from Recco, a Focacceria restaurant at Mayar. I am publishing my Recco review under Trapani business listing, because there is a joint venture between Trapani, Recco and Melenzane. Focaccia is large, round, flat Italian bread, sprinkled before baking, with olive oil, salt, and often herbs. It is usually craggy looking in appearance. I ordered for home delivery the so-called The Dope, Meaning you are "the best" or "greatâ. By the way, At Recco Focacceria, the focaccia is distinctively prepared within 12 minutes and requires no yeast in the making. The Dope includes Stracchino cheese, san marzano tomato, rocket leaves, avocado, Parmesan, roasted cherry tomato, truffle oil and pesto sauce. Stracchino cheese is an Italian fresh cow's milk cheese; it is soft and creamy cheese hailing from Lombardy. San Marzano tomatoes are the most famous plum tomato to come out of Italy. The size is great and suitable for one person as a main meal. The Focaccia is flat & light. I requested extra rocket leaves. The flavor is surely delicious provided you like pesto and basil. The Dope is aromatic & very tasty. SEE photos.

Al Forno is part of Al Shaya group and since inception it has been a success for one simple reason, the food is great, tasty and genuine Italian. The service has room for improvements but the overall all experience make you wanting to visit again and again.

Group of colleagues sitting all together for lunch for a small celebration after a long night working. Food like in Italy, lovely burrata, extremely good melanzana parmigiana and seafood as starters. Then risotto with mushrooms and risotto with shrimps plus some lobster spaghetti and some ravioli. Not getting the five star for the slightly over cooked spaghetti but all the rest was very good and the rice with mushrooms simply excellent.Place to consider for its quality and honest prices. Nice set up and elegant tables.

âPizza unitesâ was the message and the journey was long. The passion sparked in 2000 at Pizza Ciro, and all that came after was a fire to bring the true taste of Neapolitan pizza to Kuwait. A series of trials and error in the backyard with nothing but ent
Really enjoyed the Frodo pizza, but the Chimney one not so much. To be honest it had very little flavour, it was listed as the "Today's specials", which gets your hopes up, but it was a very very simple pizza. Not bad, just very plain. The staff is nice and helpful, the place has charm.
