Kutaisi (Georgian: ქუთაისი [kʰutʰɑisi]; ancient names: Aea/Aia, Kotais, Kutatisi, Kutaïsi) is the legislative capital of Georgia, and its 3rd most populous city. Situated 221 kilometres (137 miles) west of Tbilisi, on the Rioni River, it is the capital of the western region of Imereti. Historically one of the major cities of Georgia, it served as the capital of the Kingdom of Georgia in the Middle Ages, and later as the capital of the Kingdom of Imereti. The Parliament of Georgia moved to Kutaisi in 2012, in an effort to both acknowledge the status of the city, and to decentralise the Georgian government.

During the two days we visited Kutaisi we ate here three times, the food quality was excellent and serves fast and efficient. Prices were also reasonable and great view of the State Theatre and Fountain.

Fabulous lobiani and delicious glass of a dry Georgian wine. Slightly more expensive then the Fou-Fou cafe down the street for the same glass of wine though Our Cafe also has a lovely ambience and decor. Also incredibly strong WiFi that allowed me to upload photos easily. Staff member speaks English and translated some menu items. Menu also in English.

I've had a lunch with my friends and all i can say is that servers are really nice, also the atmosphere is wonderful, i liked the georgian cuisine and was really surprised, because prices are really acceptable. looking forward to visiting this place once again in future.

Lovely place with excellent food and service and good atmosphere. The call buttons for service on the tables are a great idea (hadnât seem them before). We had the giant grilled vegetable platter (of which we managed to eat 2/3s), plus ice cream for dessert. My only quibbles are the loud music and the comfortable but low chairs, too low for the tables. But those didnât detract from the food and service.

The staff is English speaking and is friendly but the music is too loud.The waitress must have been in love because she wrote down my order and even asked if I want the spinach and walnut salad to arrive with the main course but she brought e a chocolate lava cake instead which I ate anyway as it was quite good.
