My wife and I live in Seijo but often when in Noborito we said we should try there. Well last night we did. Friday night the place was very busy when we arrived at 7.30pm. We had to wait nearly an hour for a table. Note to self make reservation next time. Food is excellent. We shared a cheese fondue for two. Followed by pizza each. As I said all the food was great. We had 5 beers between and the bill was less than ¥8000 so good value to. Will definitely go back but will make reservation next time.

Tokyo Prefecture, Japan Food Guide: 7 Cafe food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Komae
This is a very small Italian restaurant with only 14 - 15 counter seats like a sushi restaurant. A young chef in front of you cooks a great variety of dishes one after another at amazing speed. He is young, but has a wide knowledge of Italian cuisine. Each dish is simply great. Still we are surprised at the check... It is unbelievably inexpensive.

A Japanese friend took me to Vino Uno for lunch and what a surprise. The produce is all local and seasonal and the source farms are listed on the blackboard. The bread is also something they feature. They did a wonderful job combing Japanese traditions with Italian food. Everything is lighter and the cold pasta and veges was delicious for lunch. Portion sizes are large for Japan also. This was a real treat and I'd like to try and return while I'm in Japan.
