Sent here by a friend. A very interesting place that does mostly carry out with very little indoor seating. The service was better than a Ritz Carlton and if you like pizza- this place MUST be on your must-do list. There is nowhere I have ever been for pizza that I thought was better. Now my problem is going to be getting through Knoxville without stopping at this place. I wonder if they serve breakfast.

You don't need to be Italian or travel to Italy to experience truly delicious Italian cuisine. When you come to our BRAVO Cucina Italiana Italian restaurant at our Knoxville location, you're entering Tennessee's own little slice of Italy. Enjoy our Italia
We received attentive service; everyone was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was spacious, airy, and quiet--we were able to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I did not see any families with small children. Appropriate dress for this restaurant would be dressy casual--no shorts or flip flops. We enjoyed our drinks. The house wine was great. The menu was varied and a step above the workhorse dishes you normally find in Italian restaurants, but a tad pricier.

My wife has always loved Carrabbaâs in California, Nashville (our daughter used to work at the Green Hills Carrabbaâs) and in Knoxville when we were there. We returned to the Knoxville store last week and were quite disappointed. First off, we always drink wine with Italian food. The wine prices at Carrabbaâs Knoxville are now outrageous! We reluctantly ordered a bottle of Berlinger Founders Cabernet. I buy it occasionally at the local wine store for $6.32 a bottle including tax. Carrabbaâs charged me $39.52 including tax for a bottle - a 609% markup from the retail price! My wife ordered Chicken Bryan with fettuccini Alfredo for $22.49 plus tax. It was charred and literally burned up. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce for $16.49. It was good, but how can you mess up spaghetti bolognese? On the positive side, our server, Allison P. was very sweet and provided excellent service.I decided to compare prices with Olive Garden, which is fairly similar, although my wife has always considered Carrabbaâs a âcut aboveâ Olive Garden. The same spaghetti dinner is $9.99 at O.G. And as far as I am concerned, equal in quality and taste to the $16.49 version at Carrabbaâs, plus O.G offers a much greater choice of pastas in addition to spaghetti for the same $9.99 price. Most of the O.G. Chicken dinners run $15.29 with no charge for side substitutions. I also priced two of the same wines sold at both restaurants. Berlinger Founders Cab is 26.50 including tax at O.G., compared to $38.52 at Carrabbaâs; and Coppola Diamond Cab. Is 32.50 including tax, compared to $50.94 at Carrabba's.I doubt if we will return to Carrabbaâs due to our experience, which is disappointing. The food is simply not 50% better than O.G., and since we enjoy wine with dinner, I refuse to pay 500+% markup for a bottle of wine. I also abhor restaurants that do not list the total price on alcohol on the menu. There is a small print disclaimer at the bottom of the Carrabbaâs wine list stating that 24.25% tax will be added to all alcohol on top of the listed price. I only know of one other restaurant in Tennessee does that. The listed price on virtually every other wine list includes all taxes.

The best part of this haven: Italian wines and regional beer on tap! Brick oven backed sour dough crusted pizzas (I tried the The Pizzicletto) with quality ingredients, still and sparkling water complimentary, homemade pistachio gelato - "yum" (and other flavors), and conscious organic greens locally sourced (delicious Arugula). Large windows in this free standing older brick frame in the Old City allow for natural lighting and they have their own parking with 12-10 spaces (guesstimating) plus a lighted lot adjacent to that (where I parked). This is a place where you are waited on and not counter serviced. The okay, not a deal breaker, for me in this haven: hard aluminum chairs (even though I will say were comfy enough). My meal came to $42.38 (without tip) for a pie, 2 glasses of wine by the glass at $9, and a gelato at $3.50. If you are not a big eater, and although they say this 13" pie is for 1, I took half (4 pieces) home to the spouse. The two exceptions to this haven that I absolutely did not like are the paper cups to serve the gelato and the glasses of wine were not poured from the bottle in front of me so I can only assume I got what I paid for. After all, this is a quality upscale casual establishment so I would expect these things to follow suit.

Whenever we go to Turkey Creek it's a must to visit our favorite restaurant. The garlic rolls are fantastic and the endless salad is excellent. Our main courses were all excellent. Each had leftovers to take home. And of course dessert was a must. Cheesecake, Cannoli and peanut butter pie were all amazing. Great service as always. Recover Paul well our prayers are with you. Missed ya. Another great dinner. Yes you missed the lil guy.

Nice atmosphere. Decent beers on tap. Pizza is good but could use more sauce. Ingredients and bread have good taste. I just was not âwowed.â

First time eating at Puleo's. Wanted to get good food to takeout, and this place was great! Friendly & helpful hostess. Atmosphere was relaxed. Went to the bar to order & "Rick" the bartender was awesome! Even though it was very busy, Rick greated us, got us our beverages quickly and helped us to order as all I wanted was a wedge salad and my husband got the baby back ribs meal. Wedge salad was listed as $10.99, but Rick added is one of the sides and only charged us $2 for it. Food was delicious! It was a diverse menu and a bit $$. But, worth it!Thank you SemperFiWife02 for your excellent review. How incredibly flattering of you to make positive note of our relaxed environment, delicious food, and amazing staff. We strive to keep great customers like you coming back again. Thanks for your recommendation, SemperFiWife02!!

Nice little Italian restaurant on the market. Food was at decent quality and preparation. The menu is small but offered a nice selection of choices. If youâre looking for olive garden dishes, theyâre not here. The flatbread and the roasted brocolini were delicious btw! Portions were appropriate. My only picky negative was our server continually clearing plates while we were still chewing our food-it was not busy in the dining room. All and all pretty good Italian and would recommend!
