Best piri piri chicken and fries! Starter of fried calamari more than covered the 3 of us and was delicious. Lightly battered and not greasy. Salads were excellent and good helpings. Waitress couldn't have been nicer and so helpful. A lovely evening out. Will definitely return!

We had the cheese and bacon pizza...very good. Crust was great, sauce was very good and oh so much cheese. Maybe too much actually, but it was tasty.

This is a typical Italian Trattoria. They have good quality pasta to buy. They make sandwich's, pizza's and also cater to big groups for offices or home parties. Their chicken Milanese sandwich on an Italian bread with spicy sauce is very good. A good place for lunch, snacks or just a pick up for a casual night.

We went to this restaurant last month with friends for a dinner and to catch up. Unfortunately, the young waiter was very uncooperative. I asked to substitute a small portion of pasta (it is an Italian restaurant after all) instead of the accompanying side (fries). Well, he advised that this isnât possible but he would do it if he charges me for a full portion size. Kind of ridiculous. So I asked to see the manager. The so called manager was an older server and he confirmed that I couldnât do it. I donât think he was the manager because of his reluctance to say that he was the manager. He did say that he was a part owner. Funny that he could resolved this issue very easily. Iâve eaten there before had done this same substitution before. I sucked it in and then ordered mussel without the pasta. When I received them, they didnât taste very good. I waited but no one came to ask me how my meal was. So I called the young waiter over. He said ok and took my full meal of the table. Unbelievably, he didnât offer me another meal and to top it off, he charged me for the meal. I then asked the so called manager why I was charged? He apologized and took my meal off the bill. No other compensation. Obviously, he didnât care about the customer. As you would expect, I didnât tip. I sure hope that he donât treat others the same way as they wonât have customers soon.

Nestled in the heart of the West Island; La Verita is an Italian fine dining experience that is bound to impact your senses. The focus is to ensure guests delight with the restaurant's modern Italian cuisine, while surrounded by a warm and trendy decor. A
This wa my third visit to this restaurant during the last 2 years. Great experience again: fresh and well prepared food, very attentive service, a bit pricey but worth it. We were a group of 8 people, we chose different items on the menu and everyone was satisfied. Personally, I had the lobster ravioli and it was excellent. Will certainly return.

Needed a quick bite. Dropped in to Calzone based on recommendation. No regrets! Great quality and service. Will be back for more!

It is a funny place for a restaurant, but inside is lovely: very large and tastefully decorated, nice high ceilings but still feels cozy. Dinner was excellent: we had the table dâhote. 2 had the octopus in sauce to start and raved about the tenderness of the baby octopus and the richness of the sauce. I had the panzarella salad which was a good size portion and very fresh. My main was a tuna steak which was huge, and served on a bed of arugula. Very tender and well cooked. My dad had the daily special which was veal stuffed peppers: he ended up bringing one home, they were so large. The third in our party had the veal scallopini, which looked absolutely decadent with cheese and cream sauce. Again, too much for her to finish. All mains came with a side of mini potatoes, pepper and chard: the latter was flavourful but pretty hard to cut.The place was hopping on a Saturday night. We found out at the end of our meal that they were short 2 staff. We werenât in a rush so didnât mind that we waited a little longer for dishes to be cleared.

Little spot in a strip mall tucked away in Beaconsfield. Really the best pizza. Not cheap, but worth it and byow, so makes for a great night. Reservations pretty much required any night because itâs a tiny place. Go check it out! You won't be disappointed.

We were five people and none of us were impressed. Two of us had veal, and both were not good at all. The veal marsala had a pasty sauce that had too much flour and no taste whatsoever. The veal picatta was overly lemon and also pasty and didn't contain any capers (a basic ingredient in veal picatta). Also someon had salmon which was dry and overcooked and tasteless. The only items that were quite good were the salads. The server really needed more training. She was missing many basics, like bringing knives and forks to actually eat the food or glasses of water, etc. It actually amazed us how full the restaurant was and also a long line up waiting to get in. There was once a time when a restaurant had to serve tasty food to be successful. I suppose that has changed. The last thing to make mention of is how noisy and loud the restaurant is. It was difficult to have any conversation there.Sorry, but we will not be returning for another visit.
