Rita's is a great place for Italian Ice and Frozen Custard. The Italian Ice is made fresh and has pieces of real fruit etc.. inside and they have lots of flavors to choose from. The frozen custard is delicious, it's creamy and rich and comes in vanilla and chocolate. My wife likes the Mango/Vanilla Gelati, it's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard layered. I had the Strawberry Lemonade Italian Ice last night and it was awesome. They also have Shakes and Blendini's. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. They have plenty of off street parking.

We just discovered 3 Guys a couple weeks ago, and we have stopped in three times. I enjoy the atmosphere of the bar area, but the seats and tables fill up quickly. It has been my experience that by 7pm, there is not a seat or table to be found in the bar. However, there is a large family dining area that is separate from the bar and I have never seen a "wait time" (to be seated) for that area. The bar has an excellent selection of beer, and usually (at least) one IPA. Tuesday is Steak Night, and you receive a nice cut of steak (along with two sides) for $12.99. The Boli's are exceptional, and a small easily feeds two people, maybe three. Although I have not had the wings, I have seen them delivered to other tables and they look huge. There are specials every night, so be sure to check the menu. The staff is attentive and friendly.

I'd really like to give this place 5 stars, because their pizza is my favorite in the Wyoming Valley. I love both their round, and their Sicilian pizza. Their wings are also usually very good. I've lived in the Valley all of my life, and have been to Tommy's probably hundreds of times over the last 20 or so years. The food is almost ALWAYS great, but the service is almost ALWAYS terribly rude. It's not too bad if you're ordering delivery, but do expect at least an hour wait because they're usually busy. But every time we go to sit down and eat, I leave there aggravated because the server was rude. There is one in particular, with dark curly hair and tattoos who acts as if you're annoying her just by being there. Granted, they get very busy, especially on weekend nights, but that's no reason to treat people like garbage. The last time I went there to eat was a Friday evening and it was packed and there was a wait. One of the people in line was someone I used to work with and hadn't seen in years so we were chatting as we waited. I was with my son and she was with another person. The waitress (the particularly rude one) sat the people behind us and snapped at us that she would have been able to seat us if we didn't combine parties. I told her we didn't, that we were just talking and she rolled her eyes at us and we had to wait even longer to be seated. Just rude for no reason. I haven't been back to eat in the restaurant since. I think the owner really needs to set some customer service standards. I mean, if you have a business that regularly has a line out the door of people who want to spend their money there, you'd think you'd train your staff to be courteous to your patrons. It's a shame really, the food is good. It's greasy pizza and junk food, but it's good. I just can't take another interaction with that miserable waitress. I'll try back in a couple months maybe.
In the spring of 2014 Jonathans opened at Harveys Lake. As we flourished over the following three years, we established a name for ourselves throughout the local community and outlying areas by providing a quality meal at fair prices with friendly, inviti
We went for a night out. The service was excellent. The menu is very good, and the specials all sounded great. The wine list was exceptional, and the Pinot Noir we had was very good. Definitely will come back. Highly recommended. Thank you Scott for the kind review and recommendation. We hope you visit us again soon and tell all your friends about your experience. Bon Appetite

This place has very good New York Style Pizza. I stop in quite a bit to grab a slice or two. I order them as is unheated and they're great. They also have salads, stromboli, calzone, wings, hot/cold subs, sodas, beer and more. The prices are fair and they often have specials. They have seating and do take out.

Andy Perugino's provides fresh and homemade Italian cuisine, banquet hall space, and catering services to the Luzerne, PA area.
After attending memorial service for family member in nearby Wilkes Barre. My sister in law family wanted everyone to join them for lunch. So we headed over to Perugino. The restaurant was in industrial area a little bit of difficulty to find. Thanks to the GPS. The staff were very helpful and had the banquet room all set up for a large group of people. Once all were settled at their tables. The staff had coffee ready and offered sodas or ice tea. Then the first course arrived of a awesome chicken soup, next the salads were served. Delicious also. As we were enjoying every ones company. Here comes the entrees family style in bowls of pasta, chicken, meatballs, and Alfredo vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Last but not least was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Would like like to say thanks again to the great staff here. Made the day happy after a morning of sadness. Definitely would recommend.

Rodanoâs has a delicious, varied menu (my personal favorite is the Diamond City salad) & courteous & accommodating waitstaff. Rodanoâs also has a banquet room for private affairs (weâve had 2 reunions, a family party & several get togethers held there) & an outdoor area to dine in fresh air. Conveniently located a few doors away from the Kirby Center, making it a great stop for dinner before & drinks after a show or play at the Kirby.I highly recommend Rodanoâs!

This restaurant has a seating free appetizer of baked herb bread chunks with a type of hummus dip. Starts your meal off right. Menu has a nice variety of choices. The staff is very friendly and are constantly checking that you are satisfied. Recommend this restaurant.

Gerry's is great pizza and has a drive through window to pick up your orders! Not the best pizza in Wilkes-Barre, but still great. I can still remember eating Gerry's for school lunch on Fridays at good old Bishop Hoban. Anytime I eat their pizza, it brings back the memories.

We had a wonderful meal at Cafe Toscana, walking from our hotel just down the street. We arrived a little after the dinner crowd. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. If this restaurant was in Boston's North End, it would be twice the price. What a treat in Wilkes-Barre!
