Italian restaurant, delicious, tasty, and good price.
Let me start by stating that Il Faro has good food. Not excellent but solid. The service is a different story. The average service is poor, but the worst part is a particular individual called Martin (one of the two chefs). He is a very arrogant person, full of himself and who treats customers with disrespect. His attitude is unacceptable and he should be forbidden to speak to customers.Il Faro would be a better place if they get rid of Martin. Atentamente.

Elmo used to be a tiny little hidden Pizza place, simple but with alot of shabby chic ambiance! The Pizza and other simple food is still great but the prices have gone up since they started 5 years ago!

This is a small, unpretentious, family-run restaurant conveniently located close to the famous curved bridge of "La Barra" outside Punta. I visited at my host's suggestion because it's pet friendly and did not regret it. They serve only a handful of fish and red meat dishes as well as whole-grain specialty pizzas. The 'corvina negra' with grilled veggies was tasty and a glass of white wine, a hearty serving of apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and an expresso rounded off a pleasant lunch al fresco. I arrived early and the family staff were friendly and soon after I was seated they brought me my glass of white wine and some warm homemade bread with a delicious aubergine spread. The restaurant quickly filled up and I realized some of the patrons wished the service didn't take so long. A couple waited a while and eventually got up and left. If you're in a hurry, perhaps "La chancha..." is not for you. But if you aren't then you can enjoy a good, inexpensive meal in the shady front garden.
