Just 100 m from the busy lakeside restaurants, Altstadt offers outdoor seating in good weather. Service was prompt and food delicious. Fish and meats are great with pasta. The owner Chefin was all the time mingling and helping wait staff do the right thing. We had a good meal

Not too far from the Rapperswil-Jona ground is an Australian style bar. Yeah sure why not!I was very surprised to see it nestled in the middle of an industrial estate, this bar looks a little out of place. I was wondering if it was even open as the surroundings looked a bit dead. Open it was, and it actually had a few punters in. It is a bar that obviously caters for large parties and music events as it is quite spacious and looks like a decent place for a gig. Had a big area reserved for smokers as well, at the side. Had all the typical Aussie paraphernalia one would expect and a crocodile hanging from the roof of the bar, yeah hats off to the interior designer as they really did a good job with getting the right mood for the bar. Ordered a Coopers Pale Ale, a popular beer from Adelaide, and it went down well, nice and cold. Served with a smile and also got a complimentary basket of popcorn. Was a nice place to relax before the big game, and happy to know that I didnât have to walk to far to the match, with the ground just round the corner. Sweet.

Went with my partner and I had already eaten. I was just going to sit with her while she ate, however, after ordering they came back and said I now needed to order food. After explaining I didn't want anything they asked me to go and sit elsewhere and leave my partner there alone. Ridiculous and really angry. Worst customer service in Switzerland.

We have had dinner here for 3-4 times now, and never had let you down!Great taste , exellent service and wide range of great wines for every demand i think. For offering something special, the Grappa serving could be worth, this Grappa is the one that you should taste.The view over the harbour to lake is nice bonus.

Visited this restaurant for the first time, and we very much enjoyed the very delicious food. We tried one pizza and a lasagne, and fell in love with the flavors and fresh preparation. The interior / decor is somewhat dated, but the genuine food is the highlight of this visit! Will be coming back for more - that's for sure!

Marco is a one man show. All the seat were taken in his restaurant (about 25) and he took orders, brought starters and drinks, cooked entrees, chatted up the customers, and brought the bill... All by himself! Pasta was great! Sauces were tasty. And the price was great!

The lunch menu didn't disappoint but rather impressed. The "Avocado Tartar mit getrockneten Tomaten und Räucherlachs" was a nice surprise for the taste buds.The "Pochiertes Goldbrassenfilet mit Kräutern, Weisswein, Knoblauch, Peperoncini und Cherry Tomaten, Salzkartoffeln und Gemüse" was nicely seasoned and delightfully presented.With 1/3 Liter Santa Margherita pinot Grigio and half a liter of water, the tab was $100 for two.The waitstaff was attentive and the food was served in a timely manner.The upstairs portion of the restaurant has a nice view and the tables have cloth covers and napkins.

Great small and cosy Pizza Place.It is a courier service but with something like 30 seatings. It is very cuteand has the feeling of a true italian osteria.Very recommendable.Lunch offer ist 20.-- SFR for Salad, Pizza and a non alcoholic beverage !
