We were so excited to hear that the owners of our favorite pizza place in nearby Matagalpa were opening a restaurant here in Jinotega. We went with high expectations and were not disappointed. The pizzas, calzones, salads.. are all amazing. This is real Italian food in Jinotega Nicaragua.. which is no small feat. All of the ingredients seem very fresh and the atmosphere is great too. If i had any critique at all it would be that the service was a little shaky.. but I would chalk that up to the restaurant being new. We can't wait to go back and keep this place in business!!

This restaurant is just outside Jinotega.Don't be put off by the name which means dog kennels. It is called this for historic reasons. It is one of the four good restaurants in Jinotega. Service is good and the portions are too big. I have been many times

They make great home-made whole-wheat bread which is pretty hard to find in Nicaragua! Tastes good- but feels very healthy. They usually have a pretty good variety of desserts, including cheese cake. Their doughnuts are delicious if you get them HOT! There coffee is not very impressive, which is sad as Jinotega is at the heart of coffee country!
