This place has really improved a lot since I have last been. The restaurant is divided into a pizza place and restaurant. The food is amazing-one of the best penne ala vodka's ever. Food is fresh and service was good. A little pricey, but location is convenient. If you don't see what you want on the menu, you can order from the pizza place menu.

Had lunch here with 3 friends. VERY extensive menu with many items being kind of redundant. Staff is friendly (large staff for a lunch time) and food is prepared quickly. Portions are very large; you could easily share, but be aware that they may charge a sharing fee (it says so on the menu, but I think it depends on the waitress who takes your order). Prices, for lunch, are on the high side. The decor is mellow, yet bright, with a bit of a Tuscan glow. Wine bottles in cubbies act as a wall separating the front/ordering/take-out area from the main dining room. It is a relaxed atmosphere. This is my second time dining here, both times the food was average-tasting; nothing to knock your socks off about. Be aware that there are a decent numbers of surcharges mentioned on the menu, in addition to the above-mentioned sharing charge.
It's been 9 years since the fire. We never expected Steve to reopen but thankfully he has. The food is A#1 - the best! It's the same menu (more or less) as the old restaurant. The tutta da fava was excelkent! My husband had angel hair pasta with shrimp a la Rosa - fabulous. Our entire good said their meals were fabulous. My major complaint was the bread. Cold "unimportant" bread in a basket was placed on the table. If it was warmed or toasted it would have been 100% better.

The ambiance is nice and easy atmosphere to hold a conversation. There is a variety of delicious choices at reasonable prices. We had wonderful service from the waiters and waitresses. It was an enjoyable experience.

A nice selection of food and drinks. They have easy take out options and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I had some really yummy spinach as a side dish-I could eat it every day. Their gluten free options are reasonable too. The menu isnât limiting. They also seem to put on a pretty good show for patronsâ birthdays. The staff was really nice. Everyone looked happy to be there-which is a nice for a change

We have gone here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Reservations always honored especially on busy Saturday nights and they never rush you. I usually share one of their terrific pizzas for an appetizer, and then choose among many delicious entree choices. Love this place can't wait to return--again!!!!

This is right on the strip, Park Avenue in Long Beach. The pizza was hot and cheesy and I also picked up a nice antipasto salad.

All you need is some patience and love , this people are caring genuine people ,this little Italian Deli is full of surprises : the flat bread is great and the sandwiches also, if planning a BBQ ,perfect just pick up some marinated meat ,poultry or fresh sweet sausage. The owner and his assistant are welcoming and if not cheap but just great quality and experience.

Gran Paradiso is a casual Italian restaurant serving great traditional and inventive Italian cuisine. Our fresh pastas are house-made and we offer gluten-free and whole wheat options. Stop by for lunch, dinner, happy hour or for one of our daily deals. Ou
After enjoying the boardwalk, we left Long Beach to find a place to eat due to dinner time. Unfortunately most restaurants in the beach area were crowded at the time. So we started driving back. Then we saw this restaurant and decided to call up and find out. Yay!We saw Steve the musician near the entrance. He's friendly and played great music the entire evening. The host or manager, Renaldo greeted us and took us to our table. It was so nice of him to make space for us because we had no reservation but that quick phone call saved us. He's so good because although I looked like I need a makeover, he gave me a compliment on my happy personality. Happy to eat!*:)I had Spaghetti del Pescatore and Hubby had chicken Sarantino. So OK, I'm going to describe my food the best way possible. It's like they made me a dish I can't refuse! That's how good it was. I know you can see the picture of my dish but this is not the average spaghetti with seafood. They got the best taste, the flavor, the tomato, the seafood. Everything! Seafood lovers must try this! Let's go to Hubby's dish. It was another win-win situation right here. His dish was above average, beyond the outer space, the dish that turns me into chicken licking good moment. Next time, I want this chicken dish. The great sauce from the type of tomato brings out the best in taste. Usually I don't care for the cheese in a dish but I don't mind this one. We were extremely happy with our discovery. Our waiter for the evening was Caesar. Maybe he's from the Roman Empire but I forgot to ask. We received a fantastic service from him and from everyone at the restaurant.I think if you go to Long Beach by car, you're lucky to have found this on the way back. For those who take the train to Long Beach, you'll miss this restaurant. So, pick your ride right!
