Really authentic Italian food. Great service and a nice location on the side of the street with outdoor and indoor dining. Lots of seafood options, including fresh lobster linguine. Highlights for us included the carbonara, the pizza Napoli and the dough and seaweed balls with tempura vegetables.

We were a group of four and ordered 4 dishes - rack of ribs, fish and two pasta dishes. All were expertly cooked and with very friendly service and advice from the waiter. For dessert the cook came out with a selection tray which he said were all home made. We tried the baileys mousse which was excellent. He also gave us a complementary glass cherry wine with the coffee. The prices are very reasonable, came to just over â¬100 for 4 people. The restaurant is unassuming and unpretentious, but friendly and with genuinely good food and excellent value for money. The only problem we had was car parking. This was our third visit and there will be many more for sure.

The Rootz is a bar and Traditional Italian Osteria, wine and cocktail bar and free library, situated in one of the most beautiful street in the centre of Valletta. The Rootz is a place where you can drink really good wines, digestives, Italian Grappa, and
This is an odd and delightful place. There is a Moroccan vibe. Reservations are a must. Itâs cash only. Itâs a small plate/shared plate model. Food is locally sourced. There were six of us and we crowded the small interior. Alissa provided excellent service and guided us through the menu making appreciated suggestions. Adding to the pleasure was the presence of a talented piano player. We were charmed, well fed and well cared for. We tried it all.....multiple bruschetta, (the Louis was a favorite) flat breads, which resemble fresh folded tortillas stuffed with cheese, meat and arugula and a giant sliced meat cured meat and cheese platter. Each order was well explained by Alissa, which prevented surprises and built anticipation. Local beer and wines were enjoyed with the food. This is a great place for relaxing and enjoying the non typical menu.

We wish to let you know the restaurant will be closed till the 7 of February! Regards The management
Staying in St Julianâs but took a trip into Valletta. Did a quick search on TA as fancied some quality Italian food. Some good choices and we went for Papannis and was not disappointed. Had a great meal with excellent service and now thinking about heading back there tomorrow. Suggest you book though as they were turning people away as it was fully booked (naturally as it was excellent!).

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

Sotto pizzeria italiana, rising up a72 hours, a mixture of selected 4 flour to eat the real Roman pizza. Sotto pizzeria italianaSouth Street in Valletta, 32.
A sizeable menu with many options usually suggest the basics are somehow forgotten...but not here. The pizzas were very good actually and we didnât leave a scrap. The beer menu is smaller but there are some interesting choices on it. Overall, tasty and filling....and we booked to go back 2 days later (recommended as they are rightfully popular and routinely turn people away).

The recently refurbished restaurant is situated in the heart of Valletta under the new parliament plaza. Today, under the leadership of Chef Steve Mamo they lead their dynamic team in providing dishes with a modern and classical touch with all flavours st
We were so thankful to go to Salvino's as part of our trip. We ate in a few different places, but none were as good as Salvino's, by far. The keyword here is fresh. They strive to cook only with fresh ingredients and this you can absolutely taste on their meals. For example, even the fried calamari was one of the best we ever had in our lives, which is a dish you can't tweak in too many ways. For the main course, we had the daily special, which was also absolutely delicious. When looking at the service, it was very friendly and easygoing. We really appreciated the more laid-back style, while being fully focused on covering all of our needs. The decoration is the only element which is a bit more simple/classic (nothing extra), but meh, with everything else you get, this is absolutely no problem. Especially since the restaurant is in a prime location already. So don't be one of the many people that got sent away while trying to get a table - reserve a place, come and enjoy :)

Perched on top of Madliena, surrounded by lush greenery and commanding excellent north-western coastal views, Madliena Lodge is truly one of a kind. Keeping the 18th-century architecture and more so amplifying the features which are nowadays pretty scarce
We were served delicious food by well mannered staff in a perfectly set terrace with live singing. Adding to this there is ample parking for diners. Indoor ambience is perfect for cosy winter lunches and dinners as well. Will surely recommend and visit again.Hi Marieneve, many thanks for such a lovely review. Your comments help us strive forward and further build our business. We look forward to having you again with us soon enough. Regards.

BEATI PAOLI Restaurant, located at 240, St Paul's Str, Valletta. If it is a lunch or a dinner, BEATI PAOLI is the ultimate restaurant to eat in.
Food, service were outstanding. Small, intimate and charming atmosphere. Chef personally visits each table to make certain food is prepared consistent with dietary restrictions and requests. Service is prompt. Portions are appropriate. Fish is clearly fresh daily. We wanted salads to start and chef accommodated.Overall experience was excellent. This restaurant was head and shoulders above the other seven we tried on our vacation in Malta. It deserves to be Number One. We tried to return but it was sold out the final four nights we were in Malta.
